I'm not too sure but I believe that JFK was the only US president that was not down with the Freemasons or Illuminati. I guess they wanted to try to put a non secret society member in their once to see how it goes.

But this speech is probably what got him killed. He put the secret societies out their when he found out about them. This is probably why the Illumination has to make sure a secret society member gets in. The member would not speak against them because he was already down with it. He would know the penalty for exposing the Illuminati.
