For 20 years or more, the African musicians, especially
the guitarists, have been going to Colombia to teach the
Colombians musique Africaine. Then at this festival in
Germany, the Colombians opened for Master Dizzy
Mandjeku and Odemba All Stars; and the Colombians
got to join during the Seben on 'Nakei Nairobi'...
sometimes they tried to match the dance of Mamans
Nana Akumu and Mbambo, but for the most part,
they said "fuck it" and had a good time..
