Firefox Vs. Windows Explorer (no Porn)

Hey fam. I got a question for anyone who cares to weigh in . . . what makes Firefox better to use than Windows Explorer? Is there added security during web surfing? Are there more features? Is it faster? Pardon my ignorance, but I just want to know.

Firefox is lauded by fans for its download speed and a superior user interface, and users say that its pop-up blocker is one of the best out there. It offers tabbed browsing, which means that users can jump back and forth between different sites with only one window open, and live bookmarks, which show users the most recent headlines on their favorite sites and lets them go directly to those articles.

But the biggest challenge facing anyone who wants to take on IE is that most Web sites are built to work best with Microsoft's IE simply because it's what sits on most PCs. That means some sites may not look quite right or may not be accessible at all via a browser other than IE.

Thanks for this. The newest version of IE also has tabbed browsing now. I heard somewhere that FireFox is safer as far as personal information and such is concerned. I don't know how true that is, though. What do you use, Memphis?

Go with Firefox and if you access a page that needs an IE page...go to the Mozilla.org website. Go to the Firefox Add-ons section and search for the IE Tab Extension. Right click and it will open a IE page in your Firefox browser. Nuff said.
