To many here get off on their amount of likes, but the board fails to balance user posts with
a simple dislike button the way almost all other social online forums do.

Maybe it's because the entertainment value is letting folks rant and talk reckless shit even if it's not really a post contribution. Hopefully the powers that be can make this happen for 2018.

Just saying, if you don't like my opinion, just hit the dislike button!o_O:hmm:
 
You can't one star a individual reply and if you hit the back button you still are contributing to the view count, so if someone has 1000 views but 10 likes maybe
some of the other 990 views wanted to leave a dislike. :dunno:

It's not really that serious but it is a thang.:D

What makes you believe folks here get off on the amount of likes they get? Was there a thread of people bragging about likes if so I missed it. I have not seen anyone speak on their likes so where is this coming from?

Just saying that dislikes the whole thread instead of the individual reply.

..and a counter thought if we have a like button for individual replies what difference does that make?

Any answer I can come up with still has me wondering why no dislike button.

I like the thread but dislike a particular reply so I one star the whole thread?

A dislike button will not work on this forum because there is real animosity between some of the members on this board and then there is just folks whom dislike one another. A dislike button would lead to an individual being searched and everything they post being disliked because they are not liked. When two individuals have a disagreement and are going back forth on any topic guess whom will be disliking the responses? The like button is all we need but I suspect if there was a dislike button you would dislike this post ....lol

I don’t know about that. We have a lot of dumb niggas here and they feel threatened when confronted with people who are more intelligent than they are. They are likely to unfairly discredit people with dislikes.
