Dr. Dre says, "I Feel Sorry For You Married MoFos."

Dre needs to sit his self down and shut up cause he married that woman had a family while having a football team of kids that he semi-acknowledges/gives money too.

You a man and you're always going to go wrong when your house is a mess and nothings in order.....it took him two decades to come to this conclusion?

I understand where he's coming from....
And this clip is NOT really about marriage.

It's about not being in CONTROL of your life. Not having someone else's happiness be your responsibility. Any man that has had the responsibility of family and having to.provide should understand where he's coming from.

He should have considered that prior to getting married in the first place

He likely did, but you never really know until you are experiencing it's like anything else in life. Once you start a family, it isn't as simple as switching careers. You aren't necessarily making decisions based on your wants. Something as simple as the type of role at a job becomes very complex depending on who you are as a person. Some people never leave their work at the office or are constantly trying to advance. Others choose to take roles that allow them to balance their family life more. Even the shift of the job may play a major role in if you except it or not.

If you had to make financial risk that could improve your life, you're more likely to go through with as a a single person. If you got to the worse case of living out of your car because of your failure, you'd probably still move forward. However, most people are more hesitant to risk thier families way of life.

He makes beats and makes them when he wants too.

He wasn’t forced to work with “Insert wack artist name here” for a check to feed his family.

This….he clearly said the marriage part as a joke because he’s newly divorced and even said he doesn’t know how he’ll feel in a few years…I don’t think he’s taking shots at anyone

I'm not speaking necessarily to his situation but the thought process in general. My point was people find it hard to balance work, hobbies or other social activities and family. It's part of the reason parents can't wait until their kids are independent. If you have a small child, you probably can't go to the bathroom without them needing something or trying to follow behind. If you are the really social/never in the house type, it can be a big transition as a parent.its the same for someone who is career focused.even being a husband is drastically different from just dating.

You're correct in saying he didn't have to make beats, but that is clearly what he loves. That still means making a decision between what you would like to do versus picking your family. didn't they claim Dre didn't attend his brother's funeral because of something work related? Most people would not make that decision. Dre was talking about putting himself first without guilt or regret.

even the money point may be somewhat up for debate. Not saying he was hurting but didn't he allegedly leave Death Row with nothing and basically had to build Aftermath from the ground up again. Plus if you consider someone like Master P who supposedly had financial issues who is to say what Dre had to do during those times. Successful people run through money everyday and live beyond their needs at all levels.even if Dre was financially responsible he still had to put resources into Aftermath including his own labor. Those artists that failed still cost money for the company. No one starts a company to allow it to fail.

I feel you and you're correct, and you're right he left Death Row with nothing.

I love when divorced dudes talk greasy about being married. He did a whole premeditated murder bid of 26 years. Like the board rejected him once. Reminds me a joke I saw on the internet in the 20th century. One night a woman wakes up to strange sounds. She rolls over to tell her husband but he's not there. So she gets up and heads toward the sound. She finds herself in the basement. To her surprise she finds her husband is curled up in the fetal position whimpering and crying. She asks him what is the problem? He tells his father told him marriage was worst than a murder conviction. He then went on to say today was their twenty fifth anniversary and he would have been getting out by now for a murder conviction.

I think it's all about approach, i would never put the words together for "being a slave to my kids"...like...i dont know. I don't look at fatherhood that way. but he's a billionaire so thats good for him that he feels that way :dunno:
