But she does have a BA in Public Policy from Stanford University...
And she has a PHD in Politics from Oxford University...

That's why she is able to take such massive political issues & dissect complex events / or government situations.... and break them down into easily understandable small chunks... but it's the "public policy" knowledge especially that lets her tell how these issues affect the 'average joe' in his everyday life.
