Dollar Falls to Record Low, what's next ration cards???

What is fukked up are people's spending habits...THAT'S a fact...

That is what these meat heads in here seem to not get.

The NYC middle class is what keeps the city functioning and if they lived in NYC they would see that the expenses of the middle class greatly exceeds their income. They are the main ones complaining about raising cost.

You think I give a fuck about tolls being raised to 8 dollars? shit im on in jersey twice a month to shop, that shit does not affect me.

That's what I thought...you are not interested in answering questions you just want to argue...you "corrected" Divine on his middle class numbers (which I didn't agree with either) then you turned around and try to use his numbers as the basis for another argument...aight bro...

Leroy, i'm sure you heard the phrase "the middle class is shrinking"

Are there less cops and teachers therefore it is shrinking???? Of course not.

Is the middle class shrinking and going to the top????/

Where are they going Leroy?????

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Michigan is getting hit the worst. abandoned homes everywhere...

Yeah man. He was saying how rough things are in the Detroit Areas... not only is the housing market soured... but the automotive industry as well..that is a double big hit on Michigan

Shit Diesel fuel here in NYC is a lil over 4 a gallon, my g35 too me 65 bucks to fill that shit up at 3.49 a gallon. I mean what part of the game is that? shit is really serious. right now I'm looking to purchase a hybrid, I'm really lookin into getting a 4 banger in a geo metro hatchback at least that gets close to 40 mpg.

Obama is right, put in a mandate to have vehicles get 40 mpg that shit would offset the high prices.

man..I remember when I first started driving you could get that cheap ass TOTAL unleaded for 89cents a gallon.. and I'm still young man...

4 dollars a gallon is just crazy..and it's not even summer yet.. damn

E, you don't know how smart a move you made be relocating to Brazil. Did you read WorldEx's post about the "South American Union"?

Missed the South American Union post..I'm gonna look for it. Only bad thing about being here is that I still earn in U.S. dollars. But I'm about to change that over the next month or so.

Yo straight up do you consider 50-70K middle class in NYC...? Those were your numbers...

That is not middle class in NYC. I qualified my range with the factors that will make it so. I did not make a blanket statement of 50-70K and left it like that. I talked about cost of living etc....

True???

Salary in New York (Manhattan) NY:
$50,000
Comparable salary in Cleveland OH:
$24,049.78

If you move from New York (Manhattan) NY to Cleveland OH...

Groceries will cost: 25.859% less
Housing will cost: 75.909% less
Utilities will cost: 22.971% less
Transportation will cost: 15.533% less
Healthcare will cost: 22.1% less

Salary in New York (Manhattan) NY:
$70,000
Comparable salary in Cleveland OH:
$33,669.69

Housing will cost: 75.909% less

:cool::cool::cool:

Leroy, understand that you CANNOT look at salary without looking at the cost of living.

I remember listening to Glenn Beck when Bush vetoed that Child Care bill because they didn't consider a family of 4 making $80k total being near poverty, but when you consider in cost of living, student loans, credit card debt, etc...$80k combined probably has one parent thinking divorce & the other suicide. $60k may look nice on the surface, but u knuckleheads aren't considering a ton of other factors :smh:

...trying to downplay the fucked up economy...

...housing forclusures are at a all time high, gas prices are at an all time high, the price of oil is at an all time high, milk is at a fucking all time high, and the dollar is at an all time LOW...

Stop being a baby...no one is saying the economy is peachy...you're just upset because people are not running around with their heads cut off like you...misery likes company...again I am not downplaying the economy but I am not "up-playing" stupid exaggerated comments either such as trying to pass off the middle class as poor for a fact...if things continue they way they are it will still be quite some time before one can say the middle class is definitively amongst the poor...until then don't pass off your unquestionable "foresight" as fact...GTFOH...

NO.. according to Amos & Andy, that's a lot of money, if they cant make it, its because of their spending habits.

Exactly............

Beatdown is talking about himself being single , blah blah blah, fuck who pays increase tolls to go to work etc...

:smh::smh::smh:

It doesn't change the fact that when inflation increases, part of the middle class drops to the lower level.........

like I said, you, George Bush and Beatdown are the only 3 coons in America who don't think the economy is that bad... straight comedy.. out of touch with reality...

Damn I can't remember the show I was watching but they talked about foreclosures (it was about NYC too) and how many people are basically "passing over" their mortgage to pay car notes and credit card bills first... :smh:

Wow you are so caught up in your rhetoric you are just responding blindly now...

Spoken like someone who does NOT understand the economy or DEBT... youre an idiot.

It makes perfect sense when youre broke.. It takes months to foreclose. When on a tight budget, money paid to CC can be used again, IMMEDIATELY.

There's a huge difference between what you just said and the quote from Divine...who has already written off the entire middle class as being poor on some Chicken George shit...

No you're the idiot coon and all the other silly names you keep spitting...when your car notes/credit card bills rival your mortgage then obviously there is a problem with spending...yeah it's understood why they pass off on paying the mortgage what is unbelieveable is that they allowed themselves to get in that situation...whatever the case is people are smartening up now and not spending money as frivously as they were...isn't that part of your plan to battle the apocalypse...no more big spending...?

Wipe the cum off your chin and understand the point, which was- what was once considered middle class is no longer the case... ITS THE ECONOMY STUPID

Quote him so that we can see what this argument is about.

Also I answered you question, any comments?

Yea, the problem with spending is:

GAS IS TOO HIGH
FOOD IS TOO HIGH
HEATING/ELECTRIC IS TOO HIGH

You try to make it seem like people in the middle class are broke now because instead of paying their water bill, they running out buying new leather furniture or some shit...

LIKE I SAID, YOU ARE OUT OF TOUCH WITH REALITY!

ITS THE ECONOMY STUPID!

I never said people in the middle class were broke...that was your statement...let me quote it again since Kaya ain't see it...your statement is an exaggerated one and is totally devoid of reason/support...just a lot of name-calling and ho-motional venting...my stance is a good amount of the middle class can not stretch a dollar how they used to because of poor spending habits coupled with the way the economy is moving right now...but that doesn't make them poor...you want everyone to believe that the middle class is "poor" mostly because of milk and gas...Chicken George shit...

Well you must be rich. That is partially true. Things are too expensive all round. You can holler stretch a dollar all you want , but with gas, rent, utilities, food going up, up , up, people are bound to start hurting.:hmm:

I lived in NYC...I don't know if you have...and for argument's sake I will look for a link...but for a fact (I'll get you some links) 70K is well over middle class status in NYC...

It's not about rich nigga it's about smart spending habits...I'm far from rich...and noticed you said "bound to start hurting" and that's if current trends continue for a good while...that's a far cry from writing off the middle class as "broke and poor"...

Leroyh I lived in NYC for 2 years and now i'm back over the last cpouple of months and i'm getting to fuck out next month again.

I think you may be confusing the average lifestyle in NYC as being middle class.

When you consider where a lot of people live in NYC, it's really poor conditions.

Here's an article (even though it's from the NY post):

VANISHING CITY MIDDLE CLASS

April 3, 2007 --

The middle class is fast becoming an endangered species in New York City, where the costs of housing and health care have soared faster than salaries over the last decade, according to a survey of city leaders that was released yesterday.
Almost all those polled - 92 percent - said it's harder for families today to work their way into the middle class, which the survey found requires an income between $75,000 and $135,000, a far cry from the city's median family income of $49,374.

The squeeze on the middle class has left the city with a widening divide between rich and poor, with fewer families in the middle, said John Mollenkopf, director of the Center for Urban Research at CUNY.

So, in the U.S., when economists talk about the "shrinking middle class", what class do you think these people, who were once considered middle class are now? Do you think they are now counted as part of the rich?

You're dumb...I'm talking to Kaya now...if you had said "shrinking middle class" then we wouldn't have wasted all this time going back and forth...no what you did was completely write off the middle class as poor as if it was a fact on some Chicken George shit...GTFOH...

nah, i think its you who is dumb. Or maybe you just lack comprehension?

so If I had said, the middle class is shrinking, and those people are now considered poor because of the fucked up economy, instead of saying the middle class is now the poor, you would have agreed?

Chicken George you don't see a difference between saying "I need a new timing belt for my car." versus screaming "My car is totaled!!!" GTFOH

No I do not see a difference in saying:

"The shrinking middle class is considered poor because of the fucked up economy"

and

"The middle class is now the poor"

can you please explain the difference as you see it? feel free to "scream" your answer if you think it will help... since you claim I screamed my statement...
