The NYC middle class is what keeps the city functioning and if they lived in NYC they would see that the expenses of the middle class greatly exceeds their income. They are the main ones complaining about raising cost.

Shit Diesel fuel here in NYC is a lil over 4 a gallon, my g35 too me 65 bucks to fill that shit up at 3.49 a gallon. I mean what part of the game is that? shit is really serious. right now I'm looking to purchase a hybrid, I'm really lookin into getting a 4 banger in a geo metro hatchback at least that gets close to 40 mpg.

Obama is right, put in a mandate to have vehicles get 40 mpg that shit would offset the high prices.

man..I remember when I first started driving you could get that cheap ass TOTAL unleaded for 89cents a gallon.. and I'm still young man...

I think you may be confusing the average lifestyle in NYC as being middle class.

When you consider where a lot of people live in NYC, it's really poor conditions.
