Point taken but that isnt exactly what I was trying to get across. I understand the situation that we are in now but the world was not always like that. We failed in the beginning to even let a system of white supremacy take place on our continent.

I often try to reason it down to science. I think it is obvious that blacks have a different body structure than whites. We have the edge on the physical side. But maybe just maybe, whites have the edge on the mental side. The saying is work smarter not harder. It seems to me in the beginning the "smarter" people took advantage of the those who were less competent, the blacks. It sort of holds true to this day.

In The NFL, the quarterback position needs to make the most decisions on the field within a short amount of time. That position is usually held by whites. In basketball, blacks completely dominate in a sport where most of the time physicality will win over pure basketball IQ. Baseball is a game where more hand to eye coordination is needed. The game is majority white. There are many other factors involved with all of these assumptions but these are just the ideas that run through my mind as to how we got to the place that we are in now. Everyone can state facts on what is going on today and who is to blame but if we can understand how we got to this point in the first place then maybe we can work on turning the tide.

Mid 20's and maybe I do need to do some more research. Ive been to Egypt, Eritrea, & Kenya. Those are theories that have ran through my mind and if you havent consider those than maybe its you with the small town logic. Either way, Im asking you to enlighten me.

The people come from nature like a fruit from a tree ... just like a polar bear is usually larger and white while a mountain bear is smaller and brown ... it is natural for there to be slight adaptations in appearances because of the ENVIRONMENT ... humans take this too far ... intellect and psychology are just as much a result of environment, but instead of a Mountain or an Icecap it is concentrated into a home, school, or even a simple belief system

A dictatorship is a must for African governance. There are an estimated 3,000 people groups in Africa, they also overlap in neighboring countries (e.g. the Batwa tribe live in Burundi, Rwanda, Congo, and perhaps other countries). Each traditionally have their own king or queen and also it own kingdom. Also large percentage of these dictators have done very well in moving their country forward, but enough to keep the old ways intact and alive.

Presently Africa is much stronger than ever. These dictators are old lions who will soon be replace by younger lions with a more modern view and greater understanding of governance.

Nigeria also had some mean ruthless dictators, especially the military boys when they were in power (and still are in some way, shape or form, pulling the strings in the background.

IBB - Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida
Raped Nigeria blind by stealing a lot of money. Is considering running again for the upcoming Presidential elections. Was responsible for the annulment of the election results in 1993 when lead to the death of MKO Abiola, the supposed winner of the elections.

Came into power via a 1985 coup ousting Idiagbon and Buhari from power.

Sanni Abacha
The most ruthless military leader seen by Nigeria. Even though his hold to power was short, he did major damage jailing a lot of people, and ultimately killing Ken Saro Wiwa (Ogoni people leader of the Niger Delta). Stole millions from Niger1a to an extent that tribunals were later formed after his death to recoup some of the stolen wealth from his family.

Obasanjo
Once a former military ruler who later ran as a civilian to become the President. Also very crooked as when power was turned over to democratic rule in 1979, it was more so to their civilian friends so that they the military could still reap the benefits of stolen wealth.

Other than the ones mentioned above, I can't think of any other dictators Nigeria had. The most damage was done really during the IBB and Abacha era. Major damage was done from 1979 till 1983 when the civilians were in power.

Nigeria is a fucked up situation, for real.
