I’m not voting a candidate unless they state they’re interested in a 99% tax on wealth over $1 million. And it should take effect on Thursday, January 21, 2021.

It's been the same cycle for at least as long as I've been alive. Repubs tank the economy with policies that don't work for anyone but the rich, people get fed up juuuuuust long enough to put racism, sexism, or any other "ism" to the side to vote in democrats. Then as soon as the ship is turning, not even back in course, just turning... They go back to repubs.

I love taxes. Love it! You see when you come from a country with little tax revenue, you know how poorly it functions. You see the disparity of wealth in your face. I know what it’s like to have a country provide a free college/university to its citizens. However, when you look closely you realize those universities are only accepting students from a certain income. Then you have those same students go live in Europe, and you don’t even have the tax infrastructure to go after them because you don’t have the financial resources to do anything about it.
How about I have $ millions in land — acres on the beach, and I have yet to see a tax bill? That’s what a goofy economy looks like. That’s what this economy is starting to look like.
I live in Pennsylvania a relatively low tax state. The city of Philadelphia is trash. Top to bottom a lousy living experience. When studies are done of quality of life, I’m going to guess we would rank at the bottom in the northeast region. It’s awful here.
I would love to pay more taxes. Let me show you how much I love taxes. I don’t drink soda but I have been buying all my soda in the city all year. But this city can’t do anything without the approval of Harrisburg. And we all know the kind of people in Harrisburg.

Right now the Dems are in a position to make republicans pay for this tax change for the next 20 years. As long as they don't screw this up.
Just let this tax policy change run its course. I don't want the Dems to touch it. Once the people start to notice zero job growth, and the US debt continuing to escalate, combined with the removal of many social services under Trump, they'll finally realize, "they fucked themselves."

They do this bullshit ass bill, get booted out of office, the Dems take over and have to make hard choices to fix the fuck up, and during the election cycle, the GOP highlights those hard choices in campaign ads to get elected again. Rinse and repeat. As long as you have a populous that ignores history and has a history of voting against their own interest, this is "foolproof", meaning, this proves that Americans are fools.
