The latest: Damon Dash, 48, claims We TV made his son Damon 'Boogie' Dash, 28, booze for their cameras for the network's Growing Up Hip Hop program in a new lawsuit he's filed against the network

Damon Dash claims We TV made his son Damon 'Boogie' Dash II booze for their cameras for the show Growing Up Hip Hop program in a new lawsuit he's filed against the network.

The 48-year-old music and fashion executive, according to TMZ, said the insistence made upon his son, 28, came in direct breach of a verbal agreement he'd came to with producers on the topic.

The New York City native said that We TV's insistence Boogie drink caused emotional distress for his family.

Dash, who founded Roc-A-Fella with Jay-Z, added that We TV hasn't compensated him for his appearances on the show.

According to the outlet, he asked the court rule on a related issue, as all funds under current legal agreements would go to creditors, but he says his company Poppington should be paid by We TV.

The show, which debuted in January of 2016, follows the children of hip hop stars as they pursue their professional paths.

This smells like bullshit. I can’t find a copy of the suit anywhere.
I hate posting their links or stories but TMZ seems to confirm it. As much as I hate TMZ, their stories seem pretty accurate.

Damon Dash is pissed at We TV for allegedly reneging on a promise not to allow his son to drink alcohol on "Growing Up Hip Hop" ... and now daddy's suing the network.
According to a new lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Damon Dash claims We TV required his kid, Damon "Boogie" Dash, to consume alcohol to increase ratings for the reality show, even though they had verbally agreed not to give Boogie a drop.

In his suit, the Roc-A-Fella cofounder claims his family's suffered emotional distress as a result of We TV's insistence that Boogie imbibes on the show.
Dame's also claiming the network owes him some cash ... he says We TV is not paying him for his work on the show.
In the docs, Damon admits there's a court order directing We TV to divert all money to Dame's creditors, but he claims We TV should not be withholding the dough, in this case, because the money's owed to his third-party company, Poppington.

As we've reported, Dame's recently fallen into dire straits with his money. Back in November, he cried poverty, claiming in court docs he couldn't pay off a $2,400 debt.
Damon also owes hundreds of thousands in back child support, but his baby mamas are cutting him out of the equation and getting the money directly from Lee Daniels, who reached a settlement with Dame last year on a $5 million lawsuit Dash had filed against Daniels.
We reached out to We TV ... no word back, so far.

TMZ didn’t provide a link to the documents or even a reference to which court it was filed in. All the other sites reference TMZ.

I’m trying to see which lawyer ran with this bullshit....

This smells of desperation. No one will do business with him or anyone who fucks with him for fear of getting sued for anything. :smh::smh::smh::smh:

“Dame Diddy, Dame Daddy, Dame Dummy...”

Been telling yaw to watch out for this snake. Something about his whole vibe keeps people at a distance from him. He’s been a liability since the 90’s.

Nobody fuckin wit dude.

For all their bullshit TMZ is owned and was founded by a lawyer who knows this type if shit and has always seemed credible when posting legal matters.

The irony is Dame always brags about his business acumen but continually finds himself in situations where he has to sue people/companies he's done business with because they jerked him for money or stole the rights to something he's working on.

So either these lawsuits are bullshit or he doesn't have the ability to run a company and handle money (although both if these could actually be true:smh:.)

For me, Dame lost all credibility when he claimed to give his baby mamma a company whose profits where to pay for child support. Of course, Dame "Boss" Dash didn't set up anyway to protect himself from any child support payment lawsuits. :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

If he is a lawyer and knows his shit he would mention the court where the shit was filed. That’s easy. But no....

THE DUDE THAT SAID LAWSUITS WERE CORNY IS ACTUALLY SUING. OK THEN.

IT TOOK HIM 30 YEARS TO CATCH ON BUT AT LEAST HE IS EVOLVING.

Real Bosses sue when necessary. Him saying lawsuits are corny is probably is lame ass way of saying he didn't have a case.

He didn't have a problem with suing Lee Daniels eventually.

YEAH. LAWSUITS ARE A PART OF THE GAME. HE HAD AN INTERVIEW IN THE 90's WHEN HE WAS STILL AT ROCAFELLA WHERE HE SAID LAWSUITS WAS CORNY. I GUESS HE WISED UP.
