Da Bulls will get to the Eastern conference finals and maybe...

I made that thread about the best PGs in the league and I think Rondo won??

I actually like Rondo has a player..he does a lot ..defensive...assists like crazy and hits the boards... but he has got too improve his shooting as he sometimes becomes a liability

you have to understand that most of the niggas on here dont know what the fuck they are talking about

That is the shit that trips me out. Dude makes obvious and significant progress on his game every offseason..and Dude is nowhere near his peak. He is just learning the game...22 years old :smh::smh::lol:

my money is on rose in 2 years being the person in the nba that you simply cannot guard in any sense of the word
laying off of him would be like leaving ray allen open for a jumper
and getting close to him would be like...well getting close to him
giving him passing lanes would be like letting magic have a clear vision
and trying to deny the pass will just have you on your backside in an instant and you don't even know what happened

Not a huge D.Rose or Bulls fan, but if Rose can become this; this will be good for NBA basketball.

Derrick Rose has gotten the better of Rajon Rondo this year when the two have guarded each other. In four games, Rose has averaged over 14 PPG while shooting 46 percent from the field when guarded by Rondo. On the other end of the floor, Rose has effectively shut down Rondo, holding him to just 4 PPG on 36 percent shooting.

Rose Rules Rondo As Bulls Stand Tall

The Chicago Bulls put the Eastern Conference's reigning bully in a headlock and pummeled the Boston Celtics into submission. The 97-81 win was a beatdown, a spanking, that all but assured the Bulls the Eastern Conference's top seed while leaving Celtics neck-and-neck with the Miami Heat for the No. 2 spot.

The vaunted Chicago defense smothered the league's most efficient offense with hard, consistent close-outs and disrupted play in the passing lanes while the Celtics' engine, Rajon Rondo, stalled. Looking disengaged and even telegraphing passes, the typically clever point guard's mental game broke down.

His frustrations were almost certainly a result of the exhilarating play of Derrick Rose, who carved the remaining letters of his name into the MVP trophy with each jet-propelled drive to the basket. Twice, Rose completely lost Rondo with hard crossovers. In the second quarter, he drew a loud "oooaaah" from the crowd when Rose duped Rondo by stepping back and left, eyeing the rim as though to shoot, then crossing back to his right and exploding through a thicket of green jerseys for the layup.

It was just one of a series of superlative plays that contributed to Rose's sterling stat line: 30 points on only 16 shots to go with eight dimes and a plus-24 plus/minus rating -- all game-highs for Chicago. Meanwhile, Rondo, who is second in the NBA in assists per game, could manage only six helpers and 3-for-10 shooting, and contributed to the Celtics' worst plus/minus rating. Those misses include a bricked, uncontested breakaway layup that revealed just how out of sorts Rondo and Boston were offensively.

The Celtics may never find a suitable answer for Rose, but looking ahead to a potential Eastern Conference championship series, it should be more disconcerting that the Bulls' defense so thoroughly dominated the game, forcing Boston into an anemic 38 percent shooting from the floor. And like the Celtics of the past few seasons, Chicago did it with rigorous attention to detail and an ethos of toughness that seemed to knock Boston on its heels, even as the game stayed close through the first two and a half periods.

If the two teams end up meeting a month from now, it will be up to Rondo to find the elusive seams and creases in Chicago's defense. Part of that task will involve forcing the Bulls to account for him as a scoring threat, something Rondo was incredibly reluctant to do Thursday night. If he can't recover his confidence in time for the playoffs, the Celtics will surely falter. Without the open shots for shooters like Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett that Rondo's penetration can create, the Celtics were often doomed to force offense against a dwindling shot clock.

It's telling that Paul Pierce, the Celtics' best isolation player, was their most effective scorer.

More than anything, Boston looked like an old, worn-down team being overwhelmed by a faster, more active and more confident Chicago club. And strangely, it was the young Bulls who looked like they had their identity and gameplan figured out, while the sage Celtics seemed unsure, still fitting the new pieces together.

To this dilemma, is the return of injured Celtics center Shaquille O'Neal really the answer?

Perhaps. After all, Jermaine O'Neal was surprisingly effective at both ends at the start of the game, and Shaq's absence left Glen Davis and Jeff Green to contend with the much longer players in Chicago's front line. Starter Carlos Boozer is easily Chicago's worst frontline defender, and playing Shaq would force Joakim Noah off Garnett, who seemed to struggle with Noah's size and physicality after a hot start.

But more important than matchups or shooting percentages was the emotional message delivered by the Bulls. They will not be bullied or intimidated; quite the opposite. Of course we've seen Boston teams look disheveled and vulnerable heading into the playoffs before. Yet again, they will enter the playoffs with plenty of concerns that their increasingly aged bodies may not be able to answer.

Meanwhile, Rose and the Bulls seem to be peaking. This game made clear that, in the East, the road to the finals runs through Chicago.

True dat they made a hell of a statement last night.

I was gonna take Beeii off Iggy to see his excuses..but based off what people are typing cunt Beeii is depressed and aint typing much of nothing..so no need to take him off yet.

Anyways...
I dont know if any of you have seen Rose play live and in person before....but If you ever can please do. When I went to the game yesterday that was the closest that I have ever been to court side. I wont be close like that during the playoffs because even when you buy tickets as a group the prices are still higher than a mofo!

Anyways.....what shocks the fuck out of me is the fact that Rose can run so fucking fast and stil manage to control the ball. Dudes speed along with his ball control is FUCKING INCREDIBLE! IM MEAN SUPER FAST! When Rose improves more on his shooting dude is gonna be damn near unstoppable! I saw his tiny ass over and over again get double and tripled teamed and still manage to drop high tear drops and bank shots off the backboard hitting nothing but net.

As for the Celtics. I know most wont type this....but even though I think theyre done i.e. not winning another title with this team you gotta give them props for getting the record that they have considering all the BS theyve been through. But...the Bulls have been through something similar. And they survived through it with a new/young team, new coach, new system, etc. Thats what makes them better than the Celtics. The Celtics main problem is they dont have a inside presence, whch is why the Buls killed them inside, and they seem to have trouble keeping up with quick teams in transition. Besides Rondo & a few of their bench players...damn near all the players on the Celtics look like they lack energy late in games. Allen, Garnett and Pierce look old going up against the baby Bulls. When they play against small, fast, great perimeter defensive teams like the Bulls...all that good half court offense that theyre known for is null and void..hence them not being able to win vs teams like the Bulls. Since earlier in the season when we lost our first two versus the Celtics the Bulls have evolved into something special...the Celtics have evolved into something...I just dont know what it is.

We play the Cavs today....I wouldnt be shocked if this was a tough game for us. This one and the Knicks game. We play the Magic on Sunday.....but Howard is suspended so that should be a easy win for us. And Jay Williams is done for the year..so that final Nets game is a win also IMO. Dont be surpsied if we end up winning 62 games this year.

We currently have the best record after the break..losing only 2 games. the next 7 teams under us per ESPN are all west coast teams; Most of which we have beaten at least 1 time out of 2 tries. We're stil fighting with the Spurs for top spot in the entire NBA...but they seem to be ballin again..and they have a weak schedule...so I think we might have to settle for 2nd.

Cant wait for the playoffs! Im becoming more and more optimistic!:dance:

GO BULLS!!!!!!!!!!

Bulls got it fam

But if Bynum is healthy come time for the finals :smh::itsawrap:

Maybe....but you neva know. I think this is gonna be the most competitive playoff year that we've seen in a while. BTW.....I think the Blazers wil upset the Lakers in Rd 1.

Cosign. been waiting for this game for a while. Bout to go to the local watering hole with my D.Rose on and enjoy some nice strong drinks while I become more and more belligerent of a Bulls fan lol Hope we get this one, and why the fuck now. We've been killing everybody. Can't remember the last upper tier team we've lost to. Probably Atlanta if you want to count them a month and a half ago. Gotta love it, plus we're at home and Scottie at half time

And this is exactly what happened lol loved it. Go BULLS.

But Rose ain't a pure point guard :hmm:

Well, I for one don't give a fuck... cause D. Rose stay

winning-sheen-t-shirts_design.png

Yall cats remember last night when this trash ass nigga missed a wide open fast break layup cause rose was chasing him down then ran back in bounds, grabbed the ball and got his shot blocked into the second row by Deng I think??? or Taj lmaoooooooooooooooooo what a great game to watch while drinking heavily

:lol::dance::lol::dance::lol::dance::lol::dance::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Bulls got it fam

But if Bynum is healthy come time for the finals :smh::itsawrap:

Seriously? Noah will make Bynum look like KG did tonight. Noah is the best defensive C in the league not named Howard. And Rose will make Kobe / Brown / Fisher look like they are playing on roller skates. gtfoh. Boozer will get his Boozer on and Brewer and Bogans will do a great job on Kobe's getting old ass. I can't wait for the finals

:yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes:

I want to see the Bulls start and finish games strongly the rest of the season. The only game left I care about is the Knicks game. I want the Bulls to smash them. Do not let them get the season sweep. Can't have Knick fans or beeiii talking greasy about the Bulls giving the Knicks hope for the future. The game against Orlando is meaningless because Howard's hot headed ass will be suspended for his league leading technical infractions. I thought xtians were supposed to be level headed:rolleyes:. All that jesus juice yet he can't control his anger.

As far as tonight and the cadaverqueers are concerned what a difference a year makes:lol::lol::lol:

GO BULLS!!!

yeah..the bench is heating up at just the right time. They all played great tonight.

Next game is Sunday vs a Howardless Magics team. Then the Knicks....with a guy named Amare that has an ankle problem, then our last game is vs the Nets...which wil be without D Williams for the rest of the year. Can you say 62-20 for the 2010-2011 Season?

GO BULLS!!!!!!!!!!!!
