Ok, maybe I'm just naive, but I thought that I could just take the d/l'd videos I already have (different formats including: avi, mpeg, and mov) and just "drag" them to my CD writer and that will be the end of it.

So I have the written CD, pop it into my DVD player, and it acts like it cant find the file...it keep saying "LOADING"

Now, when I d/l music it plays no problem.

Is there a certain format the video has to be in before it will work? What free program can I use to perform this?

Thanks is advance.

You need software/Program that encodes the files you download into DVD Video files. Most of these programs is as simple as Drag Drop and Burn.
I recommend ROXIO TOAST (if you have a Macintosh) Maybe someone else could recommend something for the PC

Certain files do work on SOME dvd players by themselves. I use to have a APEX DVD player and it use to play MPEGS.
