Stockton Kings coach Lindsey Harding is set to be interviewed by the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets for their head coaching position, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported.

According to Wojnarowski, sources said that the Hornets had been granted permission on Monday to interview the 2023-24 G League Coach of the Year for their head coach opening. A league source also confirmed the news to The Athletic.

Harding would become the first woman ever to be hired as an NBA head coach if she was to get the job.

I agree. I'm a Hornets fan. There are plenty of NBA teams in the same situation. I would not be mad if any team hire a woman. Nothing else worked. Washington would be a great choice but the market is big.
