Cam better leave that team, as soon as he can. Take the franchise tag, and walk the next year. No media comments. Just play, and walk out the door. That team dropped Steve Smith and he still had a 1,000 season.

Williams got millions with VERY little performance, so I'm not sure he can mad at the owner, though. They are NOT friends, let be real.

But if his TEAMMATES didn't show up after 9yrs, not even man of the year, next door neighbor--- their is some foul shit behind closed doors.


Even Lavelle (who the team talked shit about) went to the Patriots had 900yds receiving and got a ring.

The team employed Smith for 13 seasons. How many receivers the last 20 years stick with a team that long. Have the Bears kept the same receivers that long? No. The team kept Smiths locker room issues supressed for a long time. Issues that suddenly are popping up in Baltimore. Hell they werent convinced they wanted him back at the end of the year. My point being, Smitty got old and was replaced by a younger cheaper player. Happens all the time. Benjamin had better numbers than Smith did this year or last year by the way.

As for Cam, the team will announce his new contract in October for well over $100 mill. Not too many NFL players walk away from those deals.

I still say the Panthers success is in SPITE of Gettleman. He has brought an odd culture of shadiness & subterfuge to the team. DeAngelo got cut last week but when asked about just a few days ago Gettleman is acting like they had this great positive discussion as if the guy may be playing, never explicitly saying whether or not he would, but that smarmy non-committal BS that is becoming his trademark. The front office & coaching staff (save the defensive coach) always seems to be conspiring to field the most morally acceptable team instead of an effective one. While I'm at it fuck Riverboat too. He was all for having Hardy back but now all of a sudden he's backing off that. Who is going to want to play for an organization that is ran by these spineless idiots?
