Bears WR Brandon Marshall bashes ESPN on Twitter for 'lying' to him
Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall isn't happy at all with ESPN right now. Marshall is upset about an E:60 segment that's scheduled to run on Tuesday night.
As you can see in the preview below, the network focused on Marshall's past accusations of domestic violence for at least part of the segment.
As E:60 notes, Marshall has been accused of domestic violence, which is one among several run-ins he's had with the law. Marshall was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder in July 2011.
Marshall may also be taking issue with the timing of ESPN's story. Domestic violence has been at the forefront of NFL conversation since Sept. 8, when a video was released showing Ray Rice knocking out his wife.

Marshall's issue with ESPN seems to be that the network misled him about what the interview was going to be about. — E:60 (@E60) September 16, 2014
@E60 is running a piece on me tonight that they lied to me about. It was suppose to be a story on a camp. They followed me around 2 years

Ago and at the end put a camera in my face to talk about it and asked nothing admit the camp or the community weekend. I'm disappointed
— Machine Marshall (@BMarshall) September 16, 2014
That @espn and @lisasalters continues to try and tell my story in @espn's words.
— Machine Marshall (@BMarshall) September 16, 2014
Better yet I'm pissed off - beyond disappointed. This is the second time @espn did this.
