I am still trying to figure out how this didn't destroy a pedestrian bridge...

Notice how silent this thread is?

Russia has taken off the kid gloves and now is prosecuting the war the way that we in the US would have. They’ve been bombing the hell out of Ukraine. This time they are targeting their electricity, gas and water.

Throughout the war, until now, Russia had refused totarget the country’s infrastructure because, while its good military strategy, it will cause devastation to the people.

You’d never know this if you listen to the US media, who pretends that Putin is some kind of crazed maniac aimlessly bombing Ukrainian schools.

In Russia, Putin has been criticized by those hard liners who want him to bomb Ukraine into submission. After the bombing of the bridge in Crimea, Putin changed his mind and put one of the most cruel generals in charge.

Expect hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian deaths now.

Next move - what is the US going to do asRussia now really bombs innocent civilians. Before thosereports were fake, now they’ll be real.

Of course, we didn’t have to be caught in this World War 3 mess if we hadn’t stuck our nose in some CAC on CAC violence.

While you keep cheering about Ukrainian victories, did you consider the amount of casualties they faced taking back that land?

Estimated is they had 10x the casualties of the Russian army.

From The NY Times (I know it’s not a Twitter meme, sorry:

“This is a different kind of war,” said Iryna Vereshchagina, a volunteer doctor working near the front lines. “We’re attacking the Russians but there’s a big payment for this.”

She said that of the hundreds of battlefield casualties she has treated, she has not seen a single gunshot wound.

“So many people are getting blown up,” she said.

She looked down at her boots.

“Sometimes,” she said, “there are just pieces of people left

Part of the reason Ukraine is facing stiff resistance in the south is because of its highly effective information campaign about the counteroffensive. The signals it sent were so convincing that the Russians hastily redeployed tanks, artillery and thousands of troops, including some of their better trained units, from the northeast to the south.

That left the Kharkiv region wide open for the taking, which is what happened two and a half weeks ago. But it also left the south defended by tens of thousands of well-equipped Russian soldiers. And going on the attack is always more perilous than defending an entrenched position, especially when the enemy knows the other side is coming.

All of this has unsettled some Ukrainian soldiers fighting along the front line.

“The problem is that we are advancing with no artillery preparation, without suppressing their firing positions,” said Ihor Kozub, the commander of a volunteer military unit near the southern city of Mykolaiv.

Trump coons out here tap dancing with more regularity on this now. I am shocked she didn't call it "death con" in addition to not understanding how the levels work. (We have never reached 1 and have been at 2 only once :smh:)

Shit is bad enough Europeans are picking up on it :smh:

Buh-bye to the few cruise missiles thats still left out there to be deployed in the field :itsawrap:

 100%. They have been using s300/s400 on ground targets so what little they have left of the stuff actually designed to be used against ground targets is not going to be nearly effective as it would have been prior to the introduction of modern air defense systems. I still don't understand how it is possible that they didn't completely decapitate everything in the opening days "Shock and awe" style. It only makes sense if they didn't actually have the ability to do so. Things like this show that they probably never had the capability we all assumed...

:smh::lol:

I am also dying watching cacs here lose it about Austin renaming the bases while the russians lose it over a Black man being the face of US weapon delivery to Ukraine.
