I work with two biracial females who have white mothers and those sistas are soo clueless to things! It really amazes me. One is 33 years old, she came to me and asked me could I teach her how to make soul food. She had no idea how to make anything. Her husband is black and she wanted to cook for him. When I talk about things in black culture, like being in the black church and you put your index finger up to go to the bathroom (lol) she looked at me like this
She is completely clueless to black culture and I feel sorry for ole girl.
The other one is even worse and she's 38 years old! She wanted to go see Tyler Perry's movie, and she has a history of depression and suicide after a brotha left her!
He told her he was going to marry her and he didn't. She is weak as hell. I told her that I think the Tyler Perry movie subject matter is a bit heavy for her, since she has been going through emotional issues again. I told her that his movie was based off a play that came out years ago, I remember as a kid seeing it in Essence magazine. She said, "Essence magazine--I've never read it, it's a black woman's magazine with fashion in it, right?"
WTF man. I feel sorry for these girls, white women have raised them and they are totally clueless to life.
