You met Kendra through your Ex-girlfriend Pam and you assumed that they were good friends at the time, but you weren't exactly how close they were.
The reason why you questioned their relationship was because something that Kendra said:
"How's Pam doing, I haven't spoken to her in a while?"
You explained that you didn't know because you and Pam broke up about a year ago.
Kendra said that she was sorry to hear that and said:
"I assumed that one day you and Pam would be walking down the aisle one day"

"Well, that doesn't mean that you and I can't be cool anymore and if you ever need someone to talk to take my number and give me a call, okay"
You exchanged numbers and didn't think you would hear from Kendra (besides this is Pam's friend), assumed that she was just being nice.
However, a few days passed and you were just sitting home chilling one Friday evening when you got a phone call from Kendra.
You're thinking that maybe something might have happened to Pam or that she ran into Pam and she mentioned that she saw you, but instead Kendra was calling because she needed your help:
"Hey, I'm sorry to bother you were you busy?"
You:
"Nah, just watching television"
Kendra:
"Oh, that's interesting because that's part of the reason I called you. I'm not very good when it comes to technology and I recently purchased a "Smart tv," but I have no idea how to set it up to the cable box or the internet. Do you think you can come over and help me?"
You figured you weren't really doing anything else and who knows Kendra was well connected and might be able to do you a favor in the future, so you told Kendra to give you about 30 minutes.
Ironically, Kendra lived within walking distance of your place and when she gave you her Fifth Avenue address you realized that she resided in a very high rent district (in fact, she lived in a condo overlooking Central Park).
Her place looked like something out of "Home Beautiful," and she said "Thank you" for the compliment, but added that she doesn't get a lot of time to spend at home since her job takes up most of her time.
You asked her what did she do and she explained that she's a Lawyer.
You were impressed, but you took everything in stride and she showed you the new 65 inch television that she had recently purchased that was affixed to the wall over a fireplace tv stand ( out of curiosity you had to ask her didn't the person that placed the television on the wall program it for you and show you how it works?)
Kendra said:
"He did, but I'm still struggling to get certain channels and I didn't what to call the Geek Squad and have to make an appointment"
You remember asking Kendra:
"Do you have another television in the apartment?"
Kendra said:
"Yes, there one in the bedroom and you can see how that one is setup if that will help, but give me a few minutes and let me clean up so that you don't see something you aren't supposed to see"
You asked:
"Like what?"

"Let's just say sometimes a girl gets lonely"

"Do you miss being with Pam?"
You:
"Pam, Pam who?"
