When will we be getting https? Everything we say on this site can easily be monitored, we all say things we would never say in public on here so if you had someone out to get you, they could access all your conversations on here and use it against you. Just saying

Take your issues up with @HNIC I take all my issues up with him and he always give me good feedback and resolution without any drama issues.

dont drink the Kool-aid man...its a money grab for google nem.

Soon google will de-index sites with https so they can charge for these dumb as certificates.

It makes sense for sites where you use your credit card but other than that...straight money grab.

That's not what Certificates are for. LetsEncrypt was recently funded heavily by Google but it's a non-profit who's goal is to create a secure Internet. You are referring to Google push for non-https related sites who index score would drop if they don't have https enabled. Any engineer in the field IT duty is to provide accurate and authentic information. For instance, if someone uses Donald Trump twitter account and tweeted "Putin is a fuckboi, USA will fuck Russia up", Twitter would be responsible for the erroneous information due to security breach on their unsecure site. Another example is, what is stopping me from sending you a false link to renew your BGOL dues for the year? How would you be able to tell if I'm legit?

You really think that https stops that type of shit? It doesn't bro.
