The one dude asked if "Quan live here"? Shooter said "No", dude rebutted "you said no" and attempted to back his hammer.... Nope too late, buddy was faster on the draw.
The last thing that went thru that dude's head...other than that bullet, is to wonder how in the hell that homeowner got the best of him
Just saw this on Reddit. This is one of the best/fastest situational awareness to quick draw I have seen in self defense.
The attacker did everything wrong (advancing squared up, slowly pulling out in plain site, no cover).
The defender did everything right (opened his door first to have an escape/ barrier, angled his body and hid his draw hand, had his hand on gun ready to draw while attacker was advancing). Only mistake I could point out was taking his eye off the attacker but that could have been to get the door open.
The attacker looked like the typical thug/criminal that never had gun training. These idiots swear they are John Wick just because they have a gun in their wasteline but don't know the basic fundamentals of gun use.
Here is a reply of somebody from Reddit on how stupid criminals can be with guns....

Imagine getting bodied going to the wrong door.
Situational awareness on point even at home dude was not lacking. Scored the head shot for the victory.

There was a news article that said an argument happened in the parking lot. I don't know what the fuck they could have disagreed on, but homie signed a death wish by not letting it go.
