this post fails. you know these faggot ass skinny jean wearing simps on this board are going to say something offensive like gucci mane, or weezy, or plies. you can't have a real debate on music with these children. :hmm:

Just because people respect Gucci Mane or even just happen to like Gucci Mane don't mean they don't appreciate good music when they hear it.

I'm about as authentic hip-hop as they come and I can at least understand the time and place for a Gucci Mane song. :smh:

That being said this shit right here is fire.

neither have i, but the children of this board all love wack music, so they will disagree with whoever this cat is you are nominating for the album of the year, and annoy me with gucci mane talk. smh.

My bad. If you don't know who Alchemist is you are irrelevant to everything I just said above!

dead prez with dj lantern (went back to the lab lyrically)
grand puba retroactive (for I see dead people WOW)
charlie tuna fish outta water (VERY SUPRISING and im sooo not a dilated peoples fan)
k-os yes (man this dude is sooo slept on, what the black eyes peas SHOULD be)
jay electronica eloectrochemical (this dude is soo nice with the metaphors)
malik yusef dawn, and night (spoken word done right)
jazz liberators fruits of the past (british jazz/hip hop, all there stuff is nice)
pacific division EP (something about these la dudes I like)

all are A albums imo, 4 stars at least.....man 2009 is making me love hip hop again, just wish the radio would play some of these albums

i'm not up on much shit. i rarely listen to fm stations on the radio, never watch tv. get most my news, music etc online. never heard of alchemist.
this aint liek the shit you hear on the radio adonis, this is real music ,[ 90's style] ,check the album out

BENQ is there a an instrumental version of this album?
im sure there is, since his a producer, holla at clevelanddawg tubocity

its not the Alchemist album lol. That jay electronica isn't technically an album, but it'd be up there...I'll be back, lemme go through the collection.

can you post that song without slim thug in it?

Slim Thug is the reason why that album is not an instant classic and is just tolerable! :roflmao:

Production on point. Concepts good. Guests at a minimum or serve they purpose. Slim Thug just slacked in execution. :smh:

Willie Isz's album is better as far as creativity goes. I'll post it when I find a re-up. I dont have it on this cpu.

It's not better than Sa-Ra's but I dont consider them hiphop. Some people would argue DOOM's, I wouldnt. Finale's album is up there. Exile's Radio is insane. Marco Polo and Torae's album is pretty good. Iono...good queston benq

andy check out this song

first time hearing it

and i thought hiphop was dead

found it on the imeem app iphone
