Roku makes 80% of their profit from advertising and data collecting so yeah. If I biuy one of these tvs the first thing I would do is connect it to my router and block all outgoing connections.

ps. I brought the $200 TCL 4K TV and its hardcore bullshit!! It's going back asap. I wanted a cheap tv to put in my guest bedroom but the picture quality is way subpar, I'm talking less than dvd quality, less than bad tv broadcast quality. The quality is so bad, they could offer it for free and give me $200 and I'd take a hard pass.
