AP Reports That "Robin" Wins The NBA's MVP For The 3rd Time In 4 Years

I'm say this.

Lebron is one of the greatest players of all times. If he was to retire today he is a first ballot hall of fame player.

I want to applaud Lebron for winning an award he deserve. Lebron isn't competing with Melo, Durant or any other player playing right now. Lebron is competing with legends. He is creating a legacy right now.

I just saw the tweet by by Chris Palmer and I have to say really???

Lebron wins his third MVP and you tweet this

chris palmer ‏ @ESPNChrisPalmer

By Year 9: MJ 3 MVPs, 3 rings, 7 scoring titles; LeBron 3 MVPs, 0 rings, 1 scoring title

Gotta love how these people go about hating Lebron still it proves a point. You have to compare Lebron to the GOAT in order to try your best to diminish what he accomplish

anyway this is great for basketball.:yes::yes::yes:

CP3 was a big key to what the Clippers are doing. Tony Parker also did his thing for most of the year...but LBJ deserves this one imho.

I dont know where the Robin thing is coming from...but the Heat now belong to LBJ...not DWade. Based off what he did this year..he deserves the award. Excluding DWade and Bosh...the Heat are really full of bums. The good stats that they were able to put up...including Wade and Bosh....were a lot of times based off the attention that LBJ drew. LBJ indirectly made them look better.

BTW....the fact that any player got more MVP's than Kobe is cool with me Kobe may have more rings....but still; unlike MJ Kobe never really carried any of his teams to any title wins. He was a factor...but he was never the determining factor....*shots fired* ....lol

Like the dude Tim Rock said: When LA wins, it's never because of Kobe. When they lose, it's always because of Kobe.

It's astonishing how dissimilar your opinion, and the opinion of those like you, is from those who've had to face the man - be they player, or coach.

Let me HELP raise your blood pressure:

2:33 - 2:47

Hate distorts peoples thoughts even when they don't realize it. Cranrab believes Keith Bogans is better than Kobe. How can any sensible basketball fan - let alone a former pro - allow themselves to think something like that? That's what hate does.

You hate Kobe, and love Mike, and I already know the shit Augmon and Ceballos said, you will NEVER accept. Why? You hate the dude. .

I've told dudes on this forum before: The biggest difference between Kobe and Jordan is shot selection and effort on defense. On more than one occasion Kobe has put the clamps on league-leading scorers(e.g. T-Mac; AI), but he is only committed to defense in spurts. Mike was committed to that shit, and the results spoke for themselves. Lastly, Kobe may have the worst shot selection of any all-time dude, and he is rarely able to reel himself in and take intelligent shots on a consistent basis. However, when dude starts sinking those ridiculous shots everyone goes crazy, including me.

The skill-set is definitely comparable. This is why the comparisons are made. Dudes see Kobe fading on niggas, and weaving in and out of defenses, and they can't help but see Mike.

At the same time, Kobe Bryant is a career 45% shooter with that same crazy shot selection. It's not great, but it's comparable to other guys who are considered better shooters than Kobe, who have a much better shot selection(e.g. Dirk = 47.5%).

I blame Mike for fucking that dudes mind up. Dude was hurling up wild shit when he came in the league, and he's still doing it now. I said Mike's 'Come Fly With Me' influenced Kobe heavily, and I'll be DAMN if Phil Jackson, a few years back, didn't say THE EXACT SAME SHIT on "Pardon The Interruption".

But, yeah...

...Lebron is built for MVP awards. The way he plays the game pretty much makes him a contender every year.

Hey, Dr. kadafi, how's Chris Paul's knees?:confused:

what you talking about Chris Paul admitted he changed his game due to his knees and has said after the Olympics he will have surgery to clean his knee as he usually does.
Dec 16- It's been two days since Chris Paul was traded to that LA but he isn't wearing the purple and gold. The Clippers have move from lottery bound to playoff contender by acquiring the All Star PG in a huge (headache) trade. Chris Paul agree to opt in his final year to give the Clippers insurance that they would have him at least two years. Despite a couple knee injuries Chris Paul says he has adjusted his game and perfected his mid range jumper. "I know I don't have the speed I use to have back in 2008 but I have adjusted my game. That's what the NBA is about..... adapting. I used to be able to get to the rim anytime I wanted but now I choose my spots. As you get older you get less reckless."

:lol::lol::lol:

So I hope that you weren't trying to clown because as I said in the numerous thread is the same thing CP3 just said

Hell let me post the article

The meniscus plays a key part in helping the knee function. The meniscus is a pad of cartilage that acts like a shock absorber, absorbing the knee. The meniscus is also vital for knee stability.

When the meniscus is damaged or is surgically removed, the knee-joint can become loose, or unstable. Without the protection and stability of a healthy meniscus, the surfaces of the knee would be bone-on-bone, essentially the same problem that leads to micro fracture surgery.

Paul’s game is heavily reliant on his quickness and explosiveness—beating his opponent with his first step. Paul will most likely have to alter his game a bit after the surgery, and while he still be able to ball against several players in the league, he will lose some explosiveness due to the surgery(ies)

so wait Killa post an article saying that CP3 would have to adjust his game and lose some of his explosiveness due to an injury. Also that he would likely have to have routine surgeries to clean his knee and CP3 admits that he had to adjust his game and he is not as explosive as he was.

Nice try :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Nice try? You had charts and graphs like dude was done. Said he never return to MVP status comparing him to Penny. Regardless of any adaptation by Paul, that's to his credit. His credit. All you're doing with this commentary at this point, is retracing history.

You can use all those lols emoticons you want via Stan Cran Gundy, but the truth is the truth. You basically wrote this dude off as a commodity, for whatever reasons, based off some other "articles," now he's a legitimate MVP. Moving goal posts?

Nice try.
