Dash Cams no matter how much you pay are HIT OR MISS
I don't know why but they are. So when you get one just hope you got a good working Dash Cam that will last.
The one you see here still works, (they don't sell them anymore) my Wife's doesn't (different brand)
My Daughter's doesn't (different brand)
I even bought multiple Dash cams (all bugged out after a while)
So, spend about $50-100 and keep your fingers crossed

im loving mine. turns on and starts recording as soon as i turn on the car. doesn't stop recording for 10 seconds after i turn it off.
you can actually leave it powered on and running with the car off.....say if you're making a quick run in the store and want to have it still recording.

It's a MUST!!! I've had mine for about a year now and feel so much more secure having it. In case some asshat tries to blame me for something I didn't do. I have video proof of what happened. I hardwired mine to the car as well for a cleaner look.
I'm not a fan of the software for my camera. The only way to D/L footage is through your phone via bluetooth, no SD card and the memory can not be expanded from 32gigs.
My next dashcam will have a better user interface.
