Any cheaper alternative to the $500 Blendtec Blender??????

GOOD MORNING AND HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL.
ALL COMMENTS ON THE NINJA, vITAMIX AND BLENDTEC ARE TRUE. GOOD BLENDERS BUT EXPENSIVE FOR NO DAMN REASON.
I KNOW BECAUSE I HAVE BOUGHT AND USED ALL THOSE PRODUCTS. I DON'T EVEN MESS WITH JUICERS ANYMORE, CLEAN UP IS A BITCH AND YOU WASTE MORE THAN YOU USE. UNLESS YOUR A BAKER OR OWN A RESTAURANT YOU WON'T NEED ALL THOSE FEATURES STATED BY EACH BLENDER. AND I SUGGEST YOU DO LIKE I DO, BUY FROM COSTCO, BJ'S OR ANY OTHER RETAILER THAT WILL TAKE IT BACK FOR A FULL REFUND NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
NOW PERSONALLY THIS IS MY CHOICE OF BLENDER HANDS DOWN FOR SMOOTHIES, FROZEN AND VEGETABLE BEVERAGES..(I BLEND FROZEN VEGETABLES, ICE ALMOND MILK, POWDERS ETC.....)
PLUS YOU BLEND IT RIGHT IN THE CUP. IT SELLS FOR $39 BUT I LUCKED UP AND CAUGHT IT ON SALE AT COSTCO LAST YEAR. STEEL SHAFT AND COMPONENTS WHICH MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE WHEN CRUSHING ICE..
MY BLEND AND GO CUP CAME IN THE BOX, SO MAKE SURE IT SAYS INCLUDED ON THE BOX. LIKE I STATED, GET IT TO WHERE YOU CAN TAKE IT BACK IF YOU DON'T LIKE. IF IT'S JUST JUICE/SMOOTHIE BLENDING THIS IS THE TRUTH. A LIL NOISY WITH THE ICE BUT HEY..........
JUST MY 2
PEACE..

I've had my Nutri-Bullet for six months already.

BEST Kitchen Appliance I've ever had.
And I've had a lot of them.

It's taken my food mornings to a whole new level.

I juice fruits and vegetables together every morning before work.
And I don't eat until lunch.
And that usually consists of some trail mix and fruit.

Hell.
I even use it to juice for dinner.
And I'm practically full.

You get what you pay for.

I've had a Blendtec Total Blender for over 2 years with NO problems, my cousin used to talk all that cheap blender bullshit until he seen a side by side with my Blendtec.

Now he owns a Blendtec.

BTW I stayed away from the Vita Mix because they want you to use that pusher to completely blend your ingredients, the Blendtec does not even need one, the blade design and onboard micro processor controls the speed and pulses to give you a complete blend.

i heard to many bad things about the container on the blendtec.. people were saying that it starts to leak after a year and blendtec only offers a year warranty on the container after that u can buy a replacement container for $90 on their website... some were saying they felt like they were renting the blendtec since they kept dealing with the leakage and replacements.. just google "blendtec leak" and u will see its a normal occurrence:smh:

The Blendtec has a 7 year warranty on the blender and the container.

My biggest problem with the High performance blenders besides the price is the
SOUND it produces :smh:

Wish they sold this one for 500$ but they don't. It sells for 1500 $. :(

The nutribullet looks like a good comprimise for the price it sells.

I just picked up the Health Master Elite for $200. Had for a month now and it blends everything wet and dry. Walmart has the smaller version for ?149

Try to find one at Costco or Sams club when they are doing a showing....

they are discounted or go online....I bought one for $350.

This.

When it comes to blenders. You really get what you pay for. With a Vitamix or Blendtec you have a solid product that will last you for years without issue. Should there ever be an issue, both companies have great customer service. The products are built to last a long time. People have been known to pass down their Vitamix's to their kids. Ninja is a new company so I can't speak to how long their product will last.

Re: Any cheaper alternative to the $500 blendtec????????????

are u sure a $79 joint will compare to a $500 blendtech joint:confused:
ima need a few more folks to co-sign

Drop by Walmart and look at the blade on both blenders - that was what sold me. It's sort of like Android vs Iphone - everybody wants an Iphone but not after they've used a good Android phone.

You can drop $300 but how often will you use it - will it collect dust after a few months - a 20-32oz smoothie is dinner for me (except Fridays) and I feel great. I've had it for a little over a year (I have to find the post that made me finally buy one) and some nights I'll make a couple jars of smoothies for the week.

With regards to reliability I've gotten my money's worth and after a year I've got more spare change in jars than it would cost to replace it. But it doesn't need replacing.

I'm bout to knock this out right quick:
Carrot, Apple, Celery, Bell Pepper, Kale, half Lemon and Ginger Juice. Looks like tea but tastes like non-carbonated Mello Yellow.

I will say this, you are better off squeezing kiwis, limes, lemons, oranges and grapefruits and eating the rest because it doesn't do a good job with those - that's the only thing that will make it pulpy and gritty.

You get what you pay for.

A Corvette and a Fiat 500 will still get you from point A to point B, but you get the picture.
