Re: Any cheaper alternative to the $500 blendtec????????????

Ninja Kitchen System Pulse $79

I can make a smooth non pitty/gritty smoothie that can fill two 32 oz cups in 5 minutes or less. Kale, ice, apples, celery and anything you want to throw at it.

I heard nutri bullets were pretty convient and economical...

I was going to get a vita mix, then I just decided to keep my juicer, and make smoothies with the pulp..in my regular blender..

if that dont work out I will go with that vita shit....

My blendtec was 350 at costco with 7 year warranty. I have had it for 3 years already got 1500 blends in got about 1500 uses in on the counter and that shit is no joke. you could blend sand if you wanted into a smoothie and shit out rocks! Get the blendtec!

cmon brothas.. $350 tho:smh: i know yall can recommend a $150 joint thats as good:hmm:

the blendtec is amazing. my aunt has one. she's a chef tho.

if ur just making fruit/veggie smoothies, a bunch of 50 - 100 dollar blenders will do the job just fine. find the top rated one in ur range on amazon.

only thing is, if ur blending daily, the 50-100 ones motor will prolly burnout in a year or 3 so make sure u understand ur warranty.

look at the Ninja BL660 Professional Blender for $100

this guy says the ninjas arent all they are cracked up to be tho...

i have had my shit for 3 years!! with 4 more left on warranty at costco! They still sell it there along with the vitamix blender which is 375. Do you know what 1500 blends is? Thats almost twice a day for 3 years with each blend averaging 30 secs and it is still brand new. Ive bough 100 dollar blendars and them shits burn up after 6 months.

You basically want a blender with a lot of wattage, the cheaper ones will have around 300 watts while the expensive good ones will have at least 1000 watts

Nothing is fucking with the Omega VRT350. Its like $400. Just do your research.

Re: Any cheaper alternative to the $500 blendtec????????????

The vitamix 750 is best hands down!!!!

i use to have a cheaper blender after using it for a while it basically took forever to blend frozen fruits and recently i began to hear and smell the motor about the go out. so i went out and paid the money for the vitamix that thing is simply amazing well worth every penny.

a $40+ blender is all ya need
just make sure u get one with a glass pitcher
it'll last ya 2-4 years easily

i have to check this out. didn't know they had blendtec's at costco. good info!

I have a Ninja and have used it for about a year with no issues. You do want something with at least 1000 plus watts. Regular blenders have 700 and below. Plus the Ninja has a 72oz and a smaller container. I make a green drink and have it for the week drinking one glass a day. (my 2 cents).

Does any one have a quality blender and juicer ? seems to be a juicer vs blender war sometimes

If you have both which ones ? and price ?

Try to find one at Costco or Sams club when they are doing a showing....

they are discounted or go online....I bought one for $350.

I had a ninja and thought it was good. I got some stuff blended at a friends house with a blendtec it wasn't even close. Spend the money and get the right shit. Why do cats go crazy about they health. That few hundred will save your life as it does the job right so your more likely to use it.

what model did u buy?

Have a ninja and a nutribullet

I use the nutribullet more often, it is far more convenient, easier to clean,

The ninja breaks down larger veggies, and harder fruit easier though.

you get what you pay for. save ya dough and get the blendtec. its worth it and there's no other blender that can duplicate what it does. highly recommend it.

I've heard plenty of good about vitamix also ,but why did you get it over other offerings ?

i heard to many bad things about the container on the blendtec.. people were saying that it starts to leak after a year and blendtec only offers a year warranty on the container after that u can buy a replacement container for $90 on their website... some were saying they felt like they were renting the blendtec since they kept dealing with the leakage and replacements.. just google "blendtec leak" and u will see its a normal occurrence:smh:

I was talking to my coworker about making my own protein shakes and how I wish I could grind Oats up better and he told me about the Blendtec Blender his daughter was getting him for Father's Day but he failed to tell me it cost $500. I will just have to deal with the oats BC I'm not about to pay that much for a blender
