If you want to see shyt like that then you will, but that's not the case. What happened to the Hulk helped the story. While not true to the comic cause it is SUPER rare that the Hulk gets his ass beat and doesn't want a fight (see Silver Surfer). The angrier he gets the stronger he gets so an ass beating is just going to make him stronger. But that doesn't play well for a fight scene with THAT much CGI.
