Another one of my Desktops fucked up again!!!!

The following value in the .SIF file used by Setup is corruped or missing.
Value 0 on the line in section (SourceDiskFiles) with key "SP1.cab"

Setup cannot continue

1] Clean yur XP disk...
2] Clean yur CD/DVD drive with a cleaner disk...
3] Try another XP disk...
4] Try another CD/DVD drive...

if the file wasnt copied over from the disc, wouldnt that lil pop-up come up? cause i know with my disc i was setting up xp about a week ago if the files werent copied over it would say copy failed?

Open your computer and find bios reset jumper and reset it. It is usually a red jumper covering two of three pins.Change it from pin one and three to 2 and 3 to reset with cord unpluged. Then reset it to pins 1 and 2. then boot up and hit f8 and load fail safe default settings and save. Then reboot with XP disk and run setup.

No. You get those errors in setup after a problem when the bios is corrupt.
