Atlanta Housewife's Fiance Stabbed, Killed In Strip Club

ATLANTA -- Kandi Burruss, the newest cast member of the hit reality show, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” is coping with the tragic death of her fiance, A.J., who has been featured regularly on the show.

Burruss' publicist, Lisa Nelson, confirmed to WSBTV.com reporter Brian Johnson that the incident has left the Atlanta housewife stunned and speechless. Nelson, who represented Burruss during the taping of the show, told Johnson that the family is asking for privacy during this very difficult time.



Burruss, an award-winning singer-songwriter and former member of the ’90s R&B group Xscape, has had numerous disagreements with her mother on the show over her relationship with A.J.

Atlanta police told Channel 2 Action News that A.J. received a severe head injury from a fight at The Body Tap Club in the 1200 block of Marietta Blvd. in Atlanta.

Police didn't have a motive for the altercation, but the investigation is still under way.

Gotta agree with Blunt. Why give your money to random chick who dances? That never made sense. That culture is big downbottom.

And what's really bad is that Kandi was already goin' through the drama of family being hit by a drunk driver.

Unfortunately, Kandi's Mom was right, in the fact that AJ was not not the best guy to bring her happiness.

The sista doesn't deserve all the pain.

It's not so much about the chicks. It's the crowd these places attract. Nothing but trouble can come from an environment filled with overheated guys looking for an outlet for their sexual frustration.
 
I'm tired of the killings, the car jackings, the rapes etc. I have never felt this way before. Im starting to feel uncomfortable around my own people and i dont want to feel that way.

I agree. The only strip clubs I have ever been to are the lame ass ones near Norfolk Va. Bitches dancing in bikinis. Shit, i saw more than that on the beach in Curacao.

Sad for her, though.

I understand I've been there and back. Niggas don't care about unity or love. I feel that way I see why people (Black,White etc etc) move when that certain element comes around. Kats scream about white people and what some of them have done. What about these crazy niggas running around? How do You explain that no white person made the thugs kill this brotha?
