Come on Blunt...don't always be so serious.
Also, you could have used better examples. Tupac was murdered in public with witnesses. Elvis was a heavy drug abuser and had health problems that were known for years within his close circle. People close to him were not surprised when he died.only the general public was in shock.
Key Lay died of a reported heart attack brought on by coronary artery disease. However, subsequent to the autopsy, this was NEVER diagnosed as Key Lay never had health issues previous to this sudden heart attack. If he did, it was never reported and he never checked into a hospital. They claimed to have found stents, but there were never any records of a surgery. Also, even if you concede that point, Cardiologists have gone on record to say Lay's case does not fit the profile of acute stress that would be attributed to short term extreme stress reaction to something like a sentencing or long term build up.... then small private funeral...body cremated.. game over.
Then you consider this close circle of associates being high level officials in the Bush Administration and their tendency to bold face lie to accomplish a goal or to cover up abuses.. it is not as far-fetched as it may seem..and I am a very critical person on these types of things.
then this here and its ramifications is just a smack on the face of all the billions of personal wealth squandered at Enron
"Abatement of conviction:
On October 17, 2006, since Lay died prior to exhausting his appeals, his conviction was abated. Precedent in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the federal appellate court governing the district where Lay was indicted, indicates that abatement had to be automatically granted. When abatement occurs, the law views it as though he had never been indicted, tried and convicted"
