So I'm heading to work yesterday, and as I make my way down the sidewalk and turn right ... there's a dead raccoon laying there about 20 feet from one of the entrances. Startled me. Informed coworkers. Checked the SPCA, BC Wildlife Health & City of Van' websites ... as burying the animal (work property) & disposing of them in the garbage (garbage pick-up is every 2 weeks & now 13 days away) were NOT an option. Found an online form at one of the sites to notify the city about dead animal pick-up (wildlife). Hopefully that gets done soon.

Within an hour of arriving at work, 2 other raccoons showed up and sat with their deceased fam'. Then they pulled them over to their final resting place under a nearby tree.

Then on the drive home along the freeway there was assorted roadkill ... 1 raccoon, 2 skunks.
