Let's be real, most people have at least one successful drug addict or alcoholic in their lives. Someone you can't say shit to because on the surface it looks like they're doing better than you are. Watching Wendy Williams do it was cathartic. Ironically, that's what made her enough money to afford rehab in the first place.

I don't know Wendy Williams personally, but IMO it's highly unlikely that anyone with a Pookie level habit could have accomplished all that she has and still keep shit under wraps. Most likely she was either a chipper or someone who has binges between long stretches of sobriety.

Ronald Reagan may have died of Alzheimer's, but so did my grandmother who never played dumb with people's memories. Scientists are starting to believe that this disease can be prevented, treated or even cured with a whole food plant based diet and exercise. They probably died in part because back then scientists didn't understand the links between lifestyle, nutrition and dementia the way they do now.
That was an interesting article. I certainly agree with the author's worldview, but I wouldn't call that Karma, especially when he sites Osho and Ram Dass (aka Timothy Leary's acid buddy) as sources.
Also, if John really pulled an entire family from a burning car it almost certainly would have attracted a lot of media attention. He would have been flooded with donations and job offers and the company that rejected him would have been publicly shamed.
