Does anyone know how well this cat has done at Sevilla?
I was telling ppl for years that he was one of Europe’s top finishers. He was at Toulouse for way too long. He was the best player on a squad that had Aurier, Moussa Sissoko and (prime) Abdenour
he is not bad dont give him space cause he is deadly ben yedder

He single-handedly dumped us out of the Champions League.

Quite the talent.

Roma's clueless out there...

Gotta give Salah credit. He's got that Robben/Messi left foot.

Alaba and Marcelo may struggle

So...Barcelona go 36 games in the league undefeated with 2 games left. They decide to rest Messi with 2 games left and lose. Fuck it...I'm firing the manager. The fuck does Messi need rest for when you're going for an undefeated season with only 2 games left??

Yea seems strange but I bet the Argentine National team interest had something to do with it. Resting up as much as possible before next month.

In any event, an undefeated season woulda been dope.

Those were my thoughts exactly. That's the only thing that makes sense to me.

Great pickup for PSG. He'll make good with that talent.

I also wonder if this sends Unai Emery to Arsenal...

He's a Europa League specialist, so he's right on time I suppose. It'll be interesting to see what he does with the current group (who he keeps/who stays)

United better get some inventive midfielders this summer. Personally, I think JM tactics are way out of date. Were when Chelsea booted him the last time. There's a reason no top team wanted his ass. Maybe a good mid and a good center back can help but in the end JM has got to change tactics or go. He'd better sign D'Gea too. I blame the board in all this. They panicked by signing the guy.

We needed stability. Someone to come in and fix the mess left by Moyes and Van Gaal.

I will say this, for all the shit he gets for his lack of style and uber pragmatism, the guy is an upgrade from his successors. His stats, placement and record prove that.

Will that keep him place for the long term? Remains unseen, but he'll work for now until someone better suited comes along.

Yes, the job was too big for Moyes and LVG just didn't have the energy left. But, the other things you said are fine for second level teams, not United. United is like the Yankees, every season they go for the quadruple.

I just don't get it. You'd think the players he gets would be for his system but when he gets them he tries to make them do things that aren't their strengths. That's totally opposite to the way he managed before when he got players that his system enhanced their strengths. And despite many players saying he's the best they ever had, I think his weird behavior is scaring some players away.
City just had one of those seasons and there's nothing you can do about that, but losing to the newly promoted teams and that trainwreck against Roma are troubling.

I'll wait for 1) if they can sign D'Gea, and 2) who they get this summer but I see signs that teams have figured out his tactics. We'll see.

United are like the Yankees yes, but if there's anything I've learned in the city of Manchester is that, that team builds from the ground up as much as humanly possible. I'm not saying we won't splash the cash when we need to, cause we do, but historically overall, we don't spend spend spend like everyone else.

Yea his player selection has been questionable to say the least, but I always wanted to give three seasons to figure it out. This is it now. Year #3. He better get this shit right and lift some trophies or he's gonna have some explaining to do.

De Gea isn't going anywhere regardless of the lure of Madrid. He grew up a United fan and wanted to emulate Peter Schemiehel his entire life so that's a wash. Plus Mourinho knows he's the best in the world in his position. If De Gea wanted to go, it would've been happened by now.

As you stated earlier, we need midfield invention cause we lack severely in that area. Another CB won't hurt either cause Jones simply handed Hazard that penalty on a platter.

Still can't believe Southgate chose him over Smalling for Russia.

Conte's out the door, Willian's heading to United and Hazard's gonna go win trophies with City.

Abandon ship.

If ONE of the above happens, Chelsea gotta be the stupidest EPL team to exist. But I'm still not going to abandon ship, I'm a Redskins fan. I know what sports stupidity feels like. :D Oh well, at least I have Real Madrid to fall back on.

I'm torn between rooting for Madrid or Shittypool on Saturday. We'll see..

The Willian talks have already started today. Conte may renew and I'm sure Guardiola would do damage with Hazard...
