Not a good article but an interesting one. The author seems more interested in persuing an agenda or a particular point of view than actually writing about the changes in the Black Family structure and their causes.

No.... this is a good article. I never realized the effects that the cia had on the black feminist movement.... Now maybe someone else should write about the changes in the black family sturcture and fill us in on those "different" aspects. But as things stand, this is a "good" article.

Black women have always worked outside the home. Black women had always taken strong positions in our culture, whether the husband/father was present or not due to necessity. This schism was revealed vividly during the Democratic Primary battle between Obama and Clinton.
