It looks like Kim Kardashian is really Ka$hing in on twitter. If you ever wonder why she tweets so much like I do, here's your answer. Clearly I must be in the wrong career field, according to a new report Kim is paid over $10,00o per tweet to advertise for some of the nations top corporations. Top that that off she's also one of the highest paid celebrities on Twitter.


According to The Daily Mail:

According to a report out this week, the U.S. socialite allegedly commands up to $10,000 for every tweet she posts on her Twitter account as part of her contract with in-stream advertising company Ad.ly.

Kim, 29, is the highest earner on the company's books and the most popular on their roster of celebrity tweeters. Kardashian's advertisers include Reebok EasyTone and Carl's Jr, the fast food chain & plus more.

The reality TV star often mentions using products from both companies, in fact out of 30 tweets on her page, five mention products from either company. Derek Rey, co-founder of Ad.ly, told U.S. website PRNewser that Kardashian can command $10,000 per tweet and that his company limits its publishers as it calls Kardashian to one paid tweet per day so as to not alienate her audience.

Kim is doing quite good for someone who is famous for no damn reason at all. What in this world coming to? We can pay "celebs" money to advertise but we can't donate money to the homeless, unemployed, non-profit organizations and schools in our communities. SMDH!

Let's be honest, her 15 minutes of fame could had disappeared by now but people still care about her for some reason. Instead of hating on her success, you need to figure out how to make a dollar out of $.15.

it's not twitter paying her, its other companies and advertisers...

its like that club that paid paris hilton over 50k (i think it was 50k) just to show up to their club at least once a quarter for the rest of the year
 
She has 2.8 million followers, so $10,000 isn't even a penny a follower....pretty good deal for an advertiser.

As for why she's so huge, right place, right time. It's obvious why dudes jock her, but there has been a sea change in this country. You have a generation of young teenage and twentysomething girls who IDOLIZE whores...Paris, Britney, etc. They see them as empowering. Amber Rose clings to Kanye in one outfit sluttier than the next and goes topless in Miami, now this bitch is hosting parties getting tens of thousands a night. It's a crazy phenomenon (which is beneficial to us BGOLers since it lures more bitches into the pages of King, Smooth and onto reality TV to be whores...:yes::yes:)

I even know bitches in their 30s who follow Kim and send her tweets like they're long-time friends and shit...:lol:

The crazy thing is ... she's been even more popular in recent years post-sex tape + Keeping Up With the Kardashians show, etc.

And she was Paris Hilton's "BFF" for quite some time years ago before all of this ... and still wasn't that famous/recognizable. The media asked Casey Johnson (the "fiancee" of Tila Tequila) what she regretted most some time ago before she died ... and she said it was NOT taking Paris Hilton up on her offer to do the series, THE SIMPLE LIFE (the one that Paris Hilton did with Nicole Richie ... which started shortly after the news broke about the sextape scandal with Paris Hilton/ex-boyfriend Rick Solomon). That skyrocketed the "career" of NICOLE RICHIE would then went on to be seen everywhere and have her own troubles, etc. Finally she (Richie) has slowed down and has 2 kids with the dude Joel Madden from Good Charlotte. I'm sure Kim Kardashian would have wanted a piece of that SIMPLE LIFE pie as well ... had it been offered to her too :puke::lol:
