Disney+ News: Marvel SECRET INVASION TV Series UPDATE: NEW TRAILER!!!

and I'm still wondering how World War 3 and the extinction of humans wasn't worthy of Fury to call in the Avengers.

and I guess being able to fight was in their DNA and it doesn't require training

He explained and hinted at it throughout the show. He told the British woman that was always wearing red, basically that they couldn't keep depending on heroes to fix their problems and something along the lines of it was his mess to take care of.:dunno:

Then he created a new hero...
Thank you for pushing even further away from this bullshit series...

:hmm:

Hey..don't shoot the messenger. I didn't write the script. lol

For you guys that really want to know why he didn't call for help. It's at the 31:00 minute mark in ep. 5

Sonna: Nick why haven't you called for help from your special friends?

Nick: This is personal. We can't keep depending on superheroes to swoop in and save our asses. Plus..none of them have lived the life I have. And none them can defend the world like I can. The only super powers I have. Are the ones planted between my two ears, by my single mother.

Marvel / Star Wars rushed a lot of the shows under the old Disney CEO to have streaming content...

lets see if Iger is worth the money by slowing down on the content...

Quality over Quantity....

I know why he said he didn't, but it didn't make a lick of sense considering the stakes

and none of them can defend the world like he can? Yeah, none of them would have used a fucking 9MM to take on super skrulls

and for it to be so personal he never even had a conversation with Gravick.

I agree with you. The show didn't meet expectations. Just Disney filler until the next series drop. I wish they would just drop all episodes, so we don't have to waste 6 weeks on a mid show.

I don't know about all that.

I found it good, but I know there were some holes they should have cleaned up better. His convo with Sonia about not using the Avengers being one of them. However, it was a pretty solid effort.

Disney/Marvel movies are better than their TV shows....Warner/DC TV shows are better than their movies

I honestly don't know of many Warner/Dc shows...The only ones I can think of is the animated series like Batman, which are awesome. Flash and that super hero show on Max with Night Wing the only live action shows I have seen. I'm up for suggestions if there are anymore I have missed. I loved the Batman Dark Night movies.

Comics have always had the 'Why not just call the Big Guns in" problem...

But in the MCU there is not an active Avengers Team to call...
What Movies and Shows have y'all been watching...
Phase 4 is basically the MCU's "Avengers Disassembled"

Dr. Strange dealing with the MultiVerse
Ant-Man & Wasp dealing with the Quantum Realm
Scarlet Witch supposedly dead
Ironman, Black Widow, Black Panther & Vision dead / White Vision?
Skrull Rhodey, Falcon & Winter Soldier working for the government...
Hulk, Guardians & Ms. Marvel are off in space...
Hawkeye and Cap retired...
Thor is babysitting Girl Thor/Love...
SpiderMan identity was erased from memory...

I think this would been better if they just put it all in movie and dropped it on Disney or just dropped all episodes at once. I know they want to keep the conversation going from week to week. But it just wasn't worth it in the long run. Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead were great shows to watch over the course of several weeks(the early years).

So I guess Ahsoka is up next for Disney? The seem to alternate between Marvel and Star Wars releases.

Very good assetment of the avengers, but Ms Marvel suppose to be on speed dail tho, but im guessing he only calls her if its a threat to the universe. At this point the earth is vulerable, no damn avenger leader at all.

the whole disney streaming based around marvel and star wars and that seems to be wearing thin with the fans.

True..why not product some original content or may something based around some of their other property. Guess they pouring everything into Marvel and Star Wars.

There is a lot of original content and IP on Disney+ besides Marvel and Star Wars...
but it's mainly geared toward a younger family demographic...

I think Disney is waiting on the merger of Hulu and Disney+ to add adult/mature content with FX and 20th Century...

They sitting on a lot of IPs like Predator, Aliens, Plant of the Apes, Die Hard, Independence Day, Buffyverse, FireFly, X-Files, etc...

hulu did a predator movie which was solid, but yea they sitting on other stuff they could prob touch.

Secret Invasion
Episodes 5 - 6

Watched these this evening here at home.

Not much to discuss. The big reveal was nothing spectacular.

The Skrull Invasion continues on. We will wait and see if they continue this as a series or move the story to another project.

Overall, it’s a slow-burn series. Not much for action and mainly plays out like a suspense thriller.

I’ll give it a 5/10 rating.

Did you check out John Cena’s “Peacemaker”?

Man wtf..:smh:

My homeboi just told me about this with his son. His son been doing back ground acting work. He was saying like 30 years from now they could still be using his likeness and face and he wont get paid for it. That's part of the strike also from what I understand.

I’m still clueless on why Netflix cancelled this.

They cancelled it within a month after it debuted.

:eek2:

dam ....they cancelled it ... shit was good ...

i mean not the best but i seen shit way worse get 2nd seasons ...

maybe it was a budget thing ..cuz tht shit look like it was thru the roof ...
