If he didn’t make them successful, Michael would of never had money to bleach his skin or change his nose. Yup I remember catching the ass whooping of my life. 8th grade prom, no cell phones..moms drop me off told me meet her right there at 11pm for pick up. My girlfriend said we going to Denny want to roll, had a limo to. Moms showed up I wasn’t there, I got home at 2am as a 13 year old.
Moms met me at the door like an Oklahoma football drill.If I had to do it again I would it was worth the ass whooping. My girlfriend at the time look like Jasmine Guy. Funny thing is moms tried to swing on me in my 30’s. I caught her arm and said hey woman what you doing shit different now she laughed as well as I did. Nowadays I can’t even yell at my daughter or she’ll breakdown in tears.

I disagree with this. He took their ass from poverty and made them household names. Joe stood on discipline and it worked. Whether a bit overboard at times is debatable. Some turned out a little weird but they didn't end up like the DeBarges either.
