From what I've been exposed to, living in NYC (I do understand every state and city has its own flavor of racism) is that white people, often look at derogatory statements towards whites in general as, we blacks, look at derogatory statements towards America as a whole.
Where we know we live in America and take advantage of some of what it has to offer, we do not identify or feel responsible for the fuck shit this country does. And at the end of the day, most would not choose to live anyplace else.
Many whites here feel in their minds they are down with some of the fuck shit many whites do, but at the end of the day, they would not choose to be any other race keep in mind I am talking about the ones who identify themselves as being not racist.
