I used to admire this chick for actually lookin like she cared about

her moorish son...

then she goes full fag recruiting agent.. and I felt some way about the ho

ever since....

but this movies sounds extremely interesting....
Some actors I can separate who they are in comparison to the roles they portray

One of the actors I absolutely can't is James Woods. I'm not watching anything that I know he is in. Fuck that racist bastard

When I saw the ghosts of Mississippi I thought he acted his ass off playing Byron de la Beckwith. As it turns out, he is just as much of a racist as Byron de la Beckwith. He wasn't acting

My opinion on it...

5.5/10

This was suppose to be released in theaters as a summer blockbuster. If it had it would have had a big opening weekend and by the 2nd weekend bomb and barely make $100 million in theatrical release.

It is suppose to be a action adventure and pretty much fails to deliver. What action is in it just barely keeps you interested in finishing watching the flick.

There are no car chases, explosions or def defying SFX and Visuals.

There is no nudity and violence is basically on a PG-13 level even though the movie is Rated R.

The premise has been done a number of times in Hollywood movies, so nothing new or spectacular or twists.

The main characters with their immortality is barely discussed and what we see and are told brings up a slew of questions and some things you see or is discussed in the film somewhat contradicts itself or does not make sense.

There is a gay couple on the team. All that is shown is them spooning fully clothed and a open mouth kiss.

The main villian sucks. The actor does a lame version of actor Jesse Eisenberg who probably could have done the role better.

There is a small after title scene that is predictable when it starts and sets it up for a sequel.

Watch if you a fan of Charlize Theron or need something to watch to kill 2 hours.

Synopsis

A group of mercenaries, all centuries-old immortals with the ablity to heal themselves, discover someone is onto their secret, and they must fight to protect their freedom.

Always with the homosexual shit :smh:
They always stick that homosexual shit in there and then when we say something about it we're fucking homophobic. No motherfucker, we just don't like seeing two men kiss

"They go out of their way to stick gay shit in movies and most times there is not one black person. It seems gay is the new minority but they can have and say we don't need black people, we've got gays

Bases covered"

Fucking bullshit

You have your opinion, but I thought it was pretty good.

Their immortality wasn't really discussed because none of them knew where and how it came. They just found out one day when they got killed that they couldn't die, or when they got shot it would heal.

Think about their immortality like this, where did you come from? You have no memories of your birth, you have no memories of conception and sparse memories of your age before 4 years old

You just woke up at four or five years old remembering very little of how you came up to be

The main villain wasn't great, but it's actually on point with how Humanity thinks when you think about it.

You think Trump wouldn't do this if he found out some people were immortal? He would do his damnedest to find those people and use them as guinea pigs and see how they work. Actually accurate to a capitalistic mindset . Trump is already a bad Hollywood villain

Chewitel Ejofor's reasoning made you understand his thought process. He wasn't a bad guy, not like the villain who was simply think about how much money you can make

The only thing that did bother me was the special forces guy died way too easily. I would have thought he would have put up more of a fight

The "do you think he speaks Russian" call back was cool as hell am I thinking

And watching Kiki walk at the very end was like God damn I love how black women walk

I understand all that.

One of the things that did not make sense with their immortality was the fact they needed to eat and sleep.

What contradicts that is the other immortal who had been locked in a casket for over 500 years. If they need food and sleep how could she survive?

Another thing for them to be immortal, they should have collected enough fortune over time to live like kings. Instead they got hideouts in abandoned churches and caves living like hermits.

They should have a fortune saved up to be able to setup multiple command centers thru-out the world and safe houses and make them undetectable.

Also with the immortality, they still feel pain. With them, yeah you will have pain and know you will wake up and instantly heal. But pain is pain. That shit is not enjoyable. Take a hammer and smash your hand, let it heal in a few weeks and do it again. That shit will wear your ass down over time mentally.

At the end of the day, it’s all make believe and it ain’t real. But they have to put some realism in it so you don’t go off and question menial shit.

The closest thing I can think of to this is Wolverine. Wolverine is Immortal to a certain extent as they are. He gets cut and it hurts, he heals relatively quickly, but after years and years it does wear him down so that he will eventually die.

Also, Wolverine does eat and sleep, and he doesn't live like a king as he could have from money he could have saved up over the years.

But as you said, this is some make-believe shit so but I understand what you mean

It was a reboot of the highlander 7/10

Yep. 7. If no fag shit, 8 but man it kinda was like a bunch of questions nobody could answer as the movie progressed. I was like do you all really need the sister? Why can’t y’all keep doing y’all own thing? The Villian was substandard and went nowhere. This needs to be a series.
