South Florida Jewelry Store Robbery Ends In Wild Shootout After Police Chase Of Stolen UPS Truck; Multiple People Dead – (WARNING: GRAPHIC)

The vast majority of the blame is on the cops. They put way more people in danger than the robbers did. They literally hid behind cars with innocent bystanders. That was a horrible look. Plus they killed the driver. They could have handled this a hundred different ways but didn't. It's my understanding that's cops aren't to put innocent bystanders in danger. Guess I was wrong. Hard not to call them trigger happy.

My sister works for BSO down there in Broward County and her and her fellow police officers are blaming the police officers with this

Blame....lol...

......Had the 2 dead dumbfucks not decided to rob the store, take an innocent UPS Driver hostage and steal his truck, there would have been no police, no chase, no shots fired. The police handled it poorly which ended up with two innocent folks dead because they were also dumb fucks who thought they were in a fucking action movie. I'm surprised not more folks died. But I'm not letting the dumbasses who started this just rest in piss and think they had nothing to do with those innocent peoples deaths either. Probably used the driver as a shield.

Criminals are going to do what criminals do, the cops on the other hand should know better and are 100% at fault here.

When the truck stopped they should have sorrounded it and get on the speaker and order the men out, but instead they immediately ran up to the truck with guns out and used the civilians in their cars as shields.

That's what blew my mind about the cops. Like they were hiding behind cars with people in them. Wtf. Fire they ass.

Fuck these robbers for making this shit a scene, putting the driver in that situation FIRST. then fuck these cops for having no clue how to handle this

The Police Dept might as well write a blank check to the UPS driver's family and the bystander who got killed based on that video. Mfers were using civilian's vehicles with them still in it as shields, no regard for regular folks at all.
yea cause now it sounds like they had to get there lie straight first they know they killed that driver...

TRAGIC: The innocent UPS driver who was killed after a hostage situation and police shootout in South Florida has been identified as Frank Ordonez. The 27-year-old leaves behind two young daughters and his stepfather said he began working the new route only two days ago. https://7ny.tv/2s24QEC

Robbers aren't paid by our tax dollars to protect and serve. It's unrealistic to say that if there were no robbers, there would be no crime or deaths in this context. True, but unrealistic. In this case, the cops killed 2 innocent bystanders while using them as cover. This is so much bigger than the robbery because the cops are supposed to know better. Robbers were doing what they supposed to do. There is no expectation that they have ethics and morals and have public safety in mind. Those cops thought this was GTA... The family members of those killed by the police ain't thinking about the robbers, so why would we?

Our Condolences to Frank Ordonez, UPS driver hostage killed in today’s police shootout with robbers that hijacked his UPS truck. No one goes to work thinking they won't return. It breaks our hearts his loved ones watched it unfold on live tv, very sad . Sending love and prayers to your family

Cops killed him but the robbers will hold the responsibility. :smh:

Just sad all the way around and yes, the cops acted inappropriately.

Once stopped if the robbers started shooting first, then they put the public and risk and the cops had to shut it down.

With that said, I can’t recall a case where cops shot that recklessly. They should’ve stopped chasing, helicopters could follow them and the cop cars could follow at a safe distance.

I feel bad for the innocent civilians.

Four dead after wild rush-hour police chase with stolen UPS truck

The UPS driver killed during a wild police shootout in Florida was covering the shift for another employee, his distraught brother said.

Frank Ordonez, a 27-year-old father of two young girls, was working someone else’s route when two robbery suspects took over his truck Thursday afternoon in Coral Gables. Ordonez was later killed in Miramar along with the suspects and another motorist following a 20-mile-long police chase that unfolded live on local newscasts.
Ordonez’s brother, Roy, told CNN that he was a devoted father to his 3- and 6-year-old girls who was “outgoing and happy” most of the time.
“You never knew when he was sad,” Roy Ordonez said. “What Frank really liked to do is spend time with his daughters.”
Another brother, Luis, told the Associated Press that he saw the moment his brother was gunned down from behind.
“I saw on TV when he fell, and I knew it was him,” Luis Ordonez said. “I saw how they killed my brother.”
The police response to the hijacking was “insane,” Luis Ordonez said.
“Instead of talking to them, they just started shooting,” he continued. “I know they [the robbery suspects] were shooting back at them, but it was easy to just cover behind police cars. They could have just covered themselves.”

Asked whether Frank Ordonez or a second victim were killed by police bullets, an FBI official balked during a news conference late Thursday.
“It is very, very early on in the investigation and it would be completely inappropriate to discuss that,” FBI Special Agent in Charge George Piro told reporters. “We have just begun to process the crime scene. As you can imagine, this is going to be a very complicated crime scene.”
A fundraising page set up in Ordonez’s memory by his brother Roy accused the cops of being “trigger happy” while calling for them to be held accountable.
“He didn’t deserve to die the way he did, he was just going to work to provide for his two little girls, which he loved so much,” the website read. “They could have killed many more people, could have been one of your loved ones.”
UPS officials, meanwhile, said in a statement that the company was “deeply saddened” by the “senseless act” of violence.
“We extend our condolences to the family and friends of our employee and the other innocent victims involved,” the statement read.

They all just wanted to point their gun at something.

Wait the cops killed the ups driver and a bystander.
fuck that if i
Was in that traffic and they started shootings near me putting me in the line of fire, hey stand your ground. I’m pulling out the fire arm

Damn I see some folks blaming the robbers for the innocent folks getting killed.

Man I figured they could've traveled behind about a 1/4 of mile back, chopper in the sky, clear the roads ahead and just wait it out....

but I'm no expert in this shit, so what the hell I know

Family Remembers UPS Driver Brother As Loving Dad

Frank Ordonez was a conscientious employee and a loving father of two young girls, his distraught family told Inside Edition. The UPS worker was on his first solo run as a driver for the delivery service when he was hijacked and then killed in the crossfire between jewelry store robbers and police. The shootout followed a high-speed chase during rush hour in southern Florida. Law enforcement officers reportedly fired at the carjacked truck when the two suspects opened fire.
