I use my Shield to stream Steam games from Steam cloud. I don’t even play Steam on my PC anymore.

roku cant touch a shield, they not even in the same class.

I have a Shield and my Roku Ultra is way better. You have to format your external hard drive so the Shield will see it then your computer won't be able to use it. The Shield is missing a lot of streaming apps while the Roku gets all the apps first.. The Roku remote will control your TV so you only need one remote. My Shield is collecting dust and the Roku Ultra was on sale for half the sale price of the Shield.

Ultra Streaming Mode
This mode increases the speed that GeForce NOW streams games to your Mac, Windows PC, or SHIELD TV from 60 FPS to 120 FPS or higher, reducing latency. You’re welcome.

Would you clowns please stop with the dumb shit. You cast PC games.

Cast Games in 4K HDR!

If being able to cast games in full HD 1080p or 4K wasn’t awesome enough, NVIDIA is bringing GameStream in 4K HDR to your SHIELD TV.

Simply put, HDR (High Dynamic Range) is a new standard for Ultra HD TVs that brings image quality much closer to the natural world. With HDR, your TV effectively comes to life with richer colors, more details, and brighter imagery. And now with SHIELD, you can even cast games that support the standard to your HDR-enabled TV with GameStream.

With GameStream technology you can easily cast games in 4K HDR from your GeForce GTX-powered PC to your SHIELD TV! We’re also continuing to optimize and support 4K and 5.1 surround sound for compatible games.

Yes, sending a game on your PC to the Shield TV is called casting, but the GeForce Now service is a video game streaming service from Nvidia Servers. Learn to read, clown.

He said streaming PC games you dumb fuck. You cast PC games. The shit you posted is something totally different. Yo silly ass probably don't even have a Shield.

I’ve been rocking with the Shield since the beginning.

It can cast from a PC in the home.

It can ALSO stream from Nvidia GeForce service, in addition to the Steam Cloud.

I agree. But that clown clearly said streaming PC games. I'm getting outta this fucking thread. Niggaz clearly don't have a shield and don't understand tech. And I stand firm. The Roku is a better streaming device. The PS4 is a better gaming device. The Shield does neither very well.

But that clown clearly said streaming PC games.

The GeForce and Steam games ARE PC games.

I can play No Mans Sky, the new Assassins Creed and more on my Shield, streaming the PC versions off the Steam cloud.

I’ve been pushing the Nvidia Shield for years here and cats STILL have questions about it lolz.

Almost want to grab another. I've been working with the same Shield TV since 2015 and it’s still working like a champ.

Probably the best gadget I bought in the last few years.

This is still the goat

To stream 4K content with out buffering. The Shield is not worth it in my opinion. I'm just saying.

I stream 4k content on my Nvidia Shield without buffering. You sure it's not your network?
