I also like that it appears from the Trailer that the Robinson's are just one of many ships sent off for colonization... while in the original trailer.. the Robinson's were the first and apparently only.

I think in the Comics there was a Jupiter 1 that Smith's people were behind it's destruction, but I know the original show never mentioned a Jupiter 1. Hopefully the series will expand more into the Comic area.

Yeah Buddy... As a Diehard and I mean DIE HARD fan of the Original... I was skeptical of this project, but after seeing this teaser... With the Mass Effect like N7 suits





I just hope that they don't try to do like that horrible movie and make Dr. Smith a Villain. Dr. Smith was a Coward, lazy, and an opportunist but he wasn't really the bad guy. He just didn't want to do shit.

Dr. Smith vs the Robot was what I loved about the original. He wasn't THE villain but he was a devious muthfukka
I always wished the Robot shot a few volts into his ass just for laughs...I'm sure he will in this remake

And the creator really fucked up when he said "emotional rollercoaster..." Such an overused asshat phrase.


But I was SOLD on the first two trailers (actually before the trailers) so maybe this trailer is for another demographic...

I had to reveal to one of my younger co-workers that Johnathan Harris wasn't Gay.
Kid was shocked to say the least.
He watched the show on one of the various cable channels growing up during the 90s.

During the 80s, an older Gay White Dude I worked who was also a big Comic/Sci-Fi guy with would always tell me how Dr. Smith was a Gay Icon.
Because the character was all he and others had to look up to on TV at the time.
I think even June Lockhart said that the Dr. Smith character was actually Gay. But TV standards at the time could not make that obvious.
