As far as articulation, reasoning, and logic, is concerned, I rank him as the best to come out of theCivil Rights Era. Let’s not forget his essays as well. Malcom and Matin were the most impactful and led the way, but from a purely academic standpoint and someone who can light your ass on fire if you debate him, Baldwin was god level with his intellect.
I wish these new age gays would follow his lead and put Blackness before everything else.
