Quarterback Eli Manning said New York Giants teammate Odell Beckham Jr. has "got to back it up" if he continues to draw attention to himself.

Beckham and fellow receivers Victor Cruz and Sterling Shepard made headlines last week by vacationing in Miami on their day off to celebrate the Giants' victory over the Washington Redskins in the regular-season finale.

Beckham then struggled in Sunday's playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers, finishing with four catches for 28 yards and dropping key passes from Manning, including a potential touchdown in the first quarter.

"You've got to learn that the perception of things makes it different," Manning said Monday, less than 24 hours after the Giants' season-ending, 38-13 loss in Green Bay. "You do things, you've got to back it up.

"I don't think [the Miami trip] had an impact on the game. I thought we had a great week of practice. Guys were making plays and running around and intense and focused and everything [was] good. Unfortunately, we just didn't have it yesterday."

Beckham did not speak to reporters Monday. He was calm and composed during his postgame media conference Sunday, saying "these are the learning experiences, as tough as they are."

But after speaking to the media, Beckham allegedly punched a hole in a wall outside the locker room, according to ESPN's Sal Paolantonio, who also saw Beckham banging his head against a door.

OL's pass blocking is fine as long as Eli gets rid of the ball in less than 2.5 seconds.

His two tackles gave up the most pressures in the league. They're #1 and #2. TRASH.

Eli gets crushed anytime he needs to hold on to the ball to let a route develop. That's why the offense can't score over 20 points.

4th best in the entire league for QB hits. Reality doesn't mesh with what you're saying. The run blocking might be below average but the pass blocking is fine.

Eli gets rid of the ball super quick. That's why he doesn't take hits or sacks. It's one of the most misleading stats ever.

Go look up which QBs get rid of the ball quickest.

The line can't run block, and the tackles give up pressure anytime they have to hold a block over 3 seconds. The only team with a worse tackle combo in Minnesota, and their offensive line is beyond ass.

"Good Eli" showed up yesterday when he had protection. He wasn't the one that dropped 2 touchdowns.

Yes. I watch the Giants. I see Eli spraying the ball all over the place. I also see him panicking and throwing the ball away unnecessary because he hears footsteps. @largebillsonlyplease comment on the shit together live while watching. Giants don't have one of the worst pass blocking OL in the league no matter how much you want to imagine that shit. Eli is just playing like trash.

basically...dude actually had time to throw and actually looked good..his best games this season is when he didn't have to throw it .05 after the hike

Nothing to do with it. The giants aren't the only team with line problems. Russell Wilson is out there with udfa and a lt that has never played that position before this damn season.

And that's just not good enough. It's hard to be a bad quarterback when you have good protection. When the pressure is on is when you're supposed to earn your living as a qb in the first place.

but the offense is actually designed to do that. it's designed to read it before give the signals and get rid of the ball almost immediately. he's not FORCED to do it that's actually what mcadoo changed the offense to be like over the past 2 years.
