If thats the case, then there is no excuse for why you can't see my point of him and Kyrie having the same role. It is not a coincidence that Kyrie had the ball to even take that big shot over Curry. Curry been doing that shit A LOT. Same with Kobe w/. Shaq.
Furthermore, Kyrie hit A LOT of meaningful shots in that Finals that are going underappreciated because everyone just wants to dump all the praise on Lebron. Kyrie beasted up that series, TOO.
Don't look at the stateline, look at the games. Lebron will have a crazy line, but can be invisible when it counts the most. That happened in the Finals at times, TOO.

Let Kyrie do that for the next 10 years, then he can be in the same convo as Kobe. Kyrie is legit superstar status, but a Kobe, nah not even close yet. He would have to change his entire mentality to be that.
Kyrie would have to be the leader on his squad to be considered in that conversation. That wont be the case for at least another 5 years, unless he decides to play somewhere else when he becomes a free agent.
I hear what your saying. But you have to look at the handles, BB IQ is def higher, he can distribute the ball better and he has a way better jump shot. I think Brons game is good but that MF is a cry baby and he gets alot of non existent calls.

Kyrie was well groomed by LeBron however he still has moments, especially on defense where he has mental laps, one good thing about playing with do much talent is that he isn't forced to be the hero every game instead he can have his moments when he is ready and when the time calls for it, on a team where he is forced to be the number one, you will see his mental flaws.
Every player has flaws. Kobe had mental flaws. Must I remind everyone of Kobe's piss-poor shot-selection? Despite that, he's 10 to top 15 depending on who you ask. You can have flaws and be great.
As gifted as Kyrie is , he is third fiddle on his own team. LeBron is a given but management is so afraid of losing Kevin love they give him the light.

Its not about flaws, matter of fact his so called flaws fit better in the system that the Cavs are running than Kobe so called flaws, its just Kobe game requires less up keep and less of a system than Kyrie's, think about it Kyrie is asked to make the decision of taking the best shot or finding someone who has a better option, Kobe's job was to score, if he miss so what thats what the Lakers had so many rebounders there for..
Also consider players like Kobe and Curry have to put up big numbers in order to have an impact for their team, while there are situations where Irving scores around 14 pts and the Cavs are still dominating, what I am trying to say is that I doubt that Irving would be as good on teams that depended on him putting out big numbers day in day out, for this reason I don't see him putting up the big numbers on a successful team day in and day out..

Bruh, Kyrie is EASILY one of the most offensively skilled PG's EVER. Dude can score from ANYWHERE on the floor very well. He's not a monster athlete, but he is very quick, and has a second gear that is kind of crazy.
If CURRY can put up big numbers every night at that height, why can't Kyrie who can score well from anywhere on the court?
