It is the long told story. That's why in the military they prefer you unmarried; that's why Game of Thrones the KNights Watch are not allowed to have a family. Family changes your focus from you and your accomplishments to them. Most men of substance see their talents relegated to second-tier once they have a family. it's natural because your focus change whether you want it to or not.
 
Even if they had kids those kids would be rich and wouldn't have the same drive. They be exposed to so much until it wouldn't be "music or bust " for them.

Michael Jackson's kids won't have that Joe Jackson mentoring aka "ass whippings " to gain that extra edge on the competition.

Eminem had a daughter long before he ever became famous and still made millions

Same goes for Ice-T, Bob Marley, Macy Gray, Michael Faranti, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Afroman, Lil Boosie, E-40 and scores of other successful artists who went on to make wonderful music. Talib Kweli even said having a child is what pushed him to take his music seriously enough to make it into a career.

I doubt that having a kid would have negatively affected these artists' craft or success one bit

Bro were talking about out legitimate sons who can claim their Estates and put the money and energy back Into black community, the girl was never acknowledged by jimi's father, he barely stood with Leon,who is Jimi biological younger brother and now Janie Hendrix who has no Blood relation to jimi or hendrix family now controls their estate becos Papa hendrix married some asian squaw and "adopted " her .

Had 1 before he even had a career cos he adopted and married Rita while she was pregnant with someone else's child.

Stevie the 2nd greatest next to Marley in my opinion has atleast 4kids and it didn't stop his creativity either

I didn't say they wouldn't be successful artist tho. Or they would stop making music but it would change.

The only person of those names you list that is comparable in recognition to the greats artist listed in the OP's post is Bob Marley. The rest are hardly recognized as icons like that.

Lauryn Hill was advised not to have kids because of what it would do to her career. She may have went diamond but you didn't hear shit from her after that.

The process is different for certain artist and there is obviously a pattern else we wouldn't be having this discussion. Some of the biggest musical artist don't have any kids of note that we can look to as heirs.

It's not even about the kids being musicians or what not but to directly inherit that estate and hopefully pass the economic power and genes on to their own kids at some pointit regenerates, WE ARE AN AFRICAN PEOPLE, A MAN OF GREAT PROMINENCE WITH NO MALE HEIRS IS NOT THE MOVE
