For all you Bernie fans that was hoping for a miracle... the inevitable has happened!

I do have any issue with the Obama administration specifically his secretary of State who cheerleaded the whole imvasion and their are no African leaders to speak of.

So fuck Obama too right? He should never been elected right? Because she was following his orders, not the other way around.

Hillary kept yapping at him about intervening when he previously was against it and so were his senior advisors.
That's the reason she kept taking credit for Libya.

No bruh. The decisions were his. You are bending yourself in knots to take away culpability from him.

If she shouldn't be president based on that decision then he should be president based on his. I'm not going to take you seriously unless you concede that point.

She toutes that as her superior Foreign policy leadership and it was one gigantic clusterfuck. She won't be let off the hook.
Obama got some fuck shit under his belt like setting up drone bases in Africa, arming ISIS to the teeth, aiding foreign far right opposition parties in Venezuela, demanding African countries to accept LGBT rights but taking no real stance to address changes in police brutality in his own backyard but then again he's not running for office or will be affiliated with the Clinton's after his tenure so why press him up???

I need you to say "he shouldn't be President and his presidency and my support for him was wrong"...

C'mon...you can do it...just a lil further....

I noticed you couldn't name 10 things though. And this is the candidate that you claim is so for black people and black issues. Is one thing every 3 years too much to ask?

you didn't notice shit since i posted an article in another thread and you still spreading the misinformation.

but it's nice to see you have tried another strategy...

okay let's try this once again and then you can tell me what has Hillary ever done except turn sugar to shit.

How Bernie Gets Things Done in Congress Without Being Bought Off
Unlike Clinton, who courts corporations, Sanders isn't afraid to stray from the pack for his principles
By Michael Sainato • 03/24/16 11:00am

Democrats—and few thought he would last long without bowing to one political party—Mr. Sanders has defied naysayers with a career spanning nearly three decades.

Dubbed the ‘amendment king,’ Mr. Sanders passed more amendments than any other member of Congress during his 16 years in the House of Representatives—despite Republicans holding a majority between 1994 and 2006. He kicked off his political career with an amendment to start a National Program of Cancer registries, which is now maintained by all 50 states. In 2001, he successfully passed an amendment to the general appropriations bill which banned the importation of goods made with child labor, and passed an amendment to increase funding by $100 million for community health centers.

“During this time, Sanders took on powerful adversaries, including Lockheed Martin, Westinghouse, the Export-Import Bank, and the Bush Administration,” wrote Matt Taibbi in a 2005 Rolling Stone article. “And by using the basic tools of democracy-floor votes on clearly posed questions, with the aid of painstakingly built coalitions of allies from both sides of the aisle-he, a lone Independent, beat them all.”

When Mr. Sanders was elected to the Senate in 2006, he continued pushing amendments through legislation, including securing $10 million in additional funds for the Army National Guard, providing financial assistance for childcare to people in the armed forces, exposing corruption in the military industrial complex, support in treating autism in the military’s healthcare system and ensuring bailout funds weren’t used to displace American workers.

Throughout his career, Mr. Sanders stood in opposition to many egregious legislative blunders now retrospectively viewed as mistakes. He voted against the disastrous trade deal, NAFTA, in 1993 and was one of the earliest voices of opposition against the TPP—which doubles down on many of NAFTA’s fallacies. Mr. Sanders was one of 67 legislators who voted against the Defense of Marriage Act in 1996 and against the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” military policy in 1993. He also votedagainst the Iraq War and the Patriot Act, and helped secure billions in funding under the Affordable Care Act for community health services.

Despite Mr. Sanders’ self-avowed Democratic Socialism—putting him on the far left of most in the Democratic Party—he has earned the respect of his colleagues in Congress. Amid years of partisan politics where each party has obstructed the other from passing meaningful legislation, Mr. Sanders worked across the aisle with his conservative counterparts—with Ron Paul to audit the Federal Reserve for the first time in 2010 and with John McCain in 2014 to co-write the bill to reform the Veterans Affairs Administration. When his colleagues voted in line with the rest of their party, Mr. Bernie Sanders wasn’t afraid to stray from the pack for his principles. He has earned a reputation for honesty and integrity unmatched in comparison to his opponent in the Democratic primaries. Hillary Clinton, well-known for flip flopping for political expediency, courts corporations and wealthydonors.

Despite Mr. Sanders’ impeccable record in Congress, The New York Times recently ran an article initially praising his ability to work with both parties to get amendments added to legislation and passed—but later edited it without any footnotes or addendums explaining why the changes were made. The Times has been infamously harsh on Mr. Sanders in favor of Ms. Clinton, possibly because thetop shareholder of the company, billionaire Carlos Slim, is a major donor to the Clinton Foundation. Despite the controversy, The New York Times has continued running overtly pro-Clinton articles. Meanwhile, Mr. Sanders carries on, drawing record crowds in campaign rallies as his message grows through grassroots organization—much like his progressive reforms have sprouted into large pieces of legislation.

Two things.

First, the premise of my post was that I could question what Bernie has done for Black people and that black Bernie supports would attack a black person for questioning a white man. You proved this right in spades.

Secondly, I saw a lot of things he did in that article but nothing primarily aimed at helping black people. If I missed them, please pont them out in your article.

Logic is a foriegn concept when it comes to Bernie and Hillary. They have an irrational hate for her and an irrational love for him.

She is to be blamed for everything that has ever happened whether it was her decision or not. He is not to be blamed for anything regardless of what he said or did.

That's why people can with a straight face imply that someone is evil for supporting a crime bill, but the person who actually voted for it and helped it become law is conpletely innocent. Because he loves you.

goes to show you how that will exploit athletes

It's a false premise because you qualify it by saying what has he done that primarily helped black people.

Yet you can't answer that same question if asked about Clinton or Obama.

Sanders hasn't run as the savior of black people but he has run as the savior for the disadvantaged and has a history of those fights. And black people are disadvantaged in large part so his platforms will help them.

Someone also said he was pandering when he joined the Verizon workers on strike but when I posted how he fought for the worker's whose pensions were being threatened by IBM that same poster had nothing else to say.

That premise being people keep posting things about Sanders to try and lessen the ineffectiveness of Clinton.

So let's ask the same question , What has Clinton done to benefit primarily black people who are the voting section that is giving her this nomination ?

The attacks are based on why the loyal support for Clinton who has done and supported things that hurt black people.

It has nothing to do with attacking a white man either. that is another falsehood.

It is how does 30 years of consistency get overlooked ?

Why does a platform that is aimed at the people get pushed aside ?

Why the loyal blind obedience for a white woman who changes stories according to audience and who ignores black issues and gets the black vote cause "we know Hillary" ?

is it even worth voting for president if you're a democrat live in a red state anyway?
state has always been red and always will be. whats the point?
not voting for Hillary in Texas will be the same outcome even if you did vote for her.......a republican is gonna win Texas
or any other red state for that matter.

Black Bernie supporters say that he is the candidate that is focused on black issues.

I don't take their word for it and ask for proof. The only proof ever provided is that he's for disadvantaged people as a whole and he got arrested one time 60 years ago.

You already established Hillary is a snake that hates black people.

So, I just want some Bernie people that lecture other black people on how much better Bernie is for Black people to provide specific proof.

And not just black people that are impoverished or in the criminal justice system. For a middle class black person, what is Bernie doing targeted at black people like them? Besides just pointing out things he's doing for liberal whites would help them as well.

I get your point but Texas isn't a good example since it is becoming purple on the way to blue which is one reason republicans are against the path to citizenship.

they know they won't get those votes .

whatever you do vote local and state and down ticket..

vote for offices that can stop what is being done with the school books, and the issues that affect you day to day life

when you start a thread with a false narrative your credibility and agenda seem clear.

You are well aware of the way you use words so you should stop because it seems there is some snake in you too ..

Black Bernie supporters say that Sanders is focused on issues that affect black people not black issues...

The changes he proposes will benefit black people

But nobody says they are black issues.

local elections is where your vote counts.

Exactly. They've turned into the Tea Party.

"Obama started WARS!!!"...well what about Bush?...."Bush who?".....

You do know there's a lot of other ways to support a candidate besides simply voting right?

See that's your problem right there. WE ALL WENT TO THE JAIL in THE 90's BECAUSE OF THOSE EVIL CLINTONS! ALL OF US...EVERY ONE OF US!....

There's NO WAY some of us did well in the 90's when Clinton was in office. NONE of us. NOT ONE!!!! See, so EVERY BLACK PERSON has to be on board with BERNIE...or it's BACK TO JAIL WE GO. We were living great in America until those evil Clintons got into office.
