Josh Norman is now an Unrestricted Free Agent - Holy Crap (Titans Make this happen)

Say Jerry does get Norman. What happens at 4??? Bosa, Tunsel, get Ramsey to go with Norman? Trade down? This draft is going to be weird.
It's gonna be some crazy shit. But Norman asking for over 16 million and Stephen Jones ain't letting that happen.
I think they trying to resign Hardy for the low since all the other teams ain't reach out to him.If that happens I wouldn't mind if they picked Zeke but if Bosa is on the board they gotta grab him.
I'd take him over Ramsy just because a decent pass rush will cover up our secondary. But Scandrick will be back and hopefully Mo's confidence has returned.

No telling who Eagles gave away the house for though.Shit will be interesting come draft day.

:smh:

Hell naw, Ramsey over Bosa. Dude aint the answer.
Our dline is suspect. We get better pass rushers our secondary wouldn't look so bad.If they resign Hardy and he's actually ready to ball out along with Gregory who had a bullshit campaign last season than I'm good with Ramsey.
I don't want none of the QBs though.

I think it shows they don't feel he's a shut down corner and more of a product of their system and the talent around him

Maybe Panthers are scared he'll turn into another Nnamdi Asomugha if they pay that much for him.
Plus, the guy is a bit of a loose cannon. No telling how he'll act once he gets paid.

They will draft another lineman

That is obvious. But that tweet made it seem like we had a JPP,jj watt, aaron donald type on our line that we need sign. We don't have SHIT foreal. Cam put the entire team on his back and Luke/Short held it down on the defensive side of the ball. John Steward will get hurt again and so will Thomas Davis unfortunately. We have enough holes as it is and with Josh we just got another one.

I think we'll be fine. Josh will be missed but his money gives us a chance to sign more guys. Dont be shocked if we bring in another RB cuz this is Stewart's last year in Carolina.

Steelers ain't fuckin with him. Wish they would though.

We've got the money in Jax, but I'm not sure we make a play for him. Dude's about to be 29, and isn't THAT good.

But who the fuck knows.. I may wake up tomorrow morning and see that's he's scheduled for a visit.

which means nothing but kicking the tires. no worries either way.

I don't think Bosa will be a good pass rusher though.

Gettleman doesn't really sign anyone, that's my problem with him. Again the Panthers needs are obvious, I would be surprised if we didn't take a RB but like I said just another hole to fill. JPP blew his fucking hand off and the Giants didn't pull the franchise tag from him. They should have tagged and traded him early in the offseason WHEN TEAMS HAD MONEY.

Something is VERY ODD here.

Man I wouldn't be surprised... They have a legitimate shot at the division. They need the talent. Ughhhhhhh

I hate to fucking say that shit.

Why not just let him play under the tag tho?

I agree with not making the highest paid corner in the game but you lose control

Could've traded him or anything

You basically lose him for nothing without a replacement

And as for that GM I have to agree Cam and Luke is making him look good

man that is absolutely crazy. The NFL and these bullshit ass contracts. Dude earned his deal, after that terrible rookie contract. Poor Cam...you had your shot...no way you get to the Bowl game anytime soon.

Hope Cam is not like Dan Marino with this terrible ass franchise

The big problem now... is how many teams are left that can pay him the type of money that he wants. I know we still have some cap room, but I don't want us paying 100 million to a corner back unless your name is Revis.
philly damn sho can't.
They got $60 million in guaranteed money tied up in QBs alone.
Can't afford this nigga.

49ers are the front runner. Chip Kelly gon be scared of that nigga :smh:

Yahoo! Sports' Charles Robinson reports the 49ers are "expected to be the early front-runner" for free agent CB Josh Norman.

The 49ers have been one of the main teams linked to Norman in his first seven hours of free agency. According to Robinson, the Jaguars also "have interest." Jacksonville and San Francisco are currently Nos. 1 and 2 in cap space, with each having over $50 million available under the cap. It'll come in handy if this becomes a bidding war, which it very likely will. Per ESPN 49ers reporter Paul Gutierrez, Norman is "intrigued" by the idea of playing in California.

Gettlemen is a arrogant piece of shit. Incompetent too. Cam saved his ass last year by dragging a bunch of trash to the super bowl. His shit will catch up with him soon enough. Hes the same guy who said he wasnt sure if Cam was a franchise QB a year and half ago.
This is true, but he was asking for an excess of 16 million dollars a year. He's good, but I don't know if he's 16 million dollars a year good. And, with all the money that the Giants gave to JaNorris Jenkins who isn't even on the same tier I can't say he's wrong for asking that.

In the end, as the GM said a long-term deal was not within reach. At least this way they will get a third-round compensation pick next year

Was he really that good??? Or good for the Panthers scheme.
We'll know soon because someone will sign him . . . maybe not to as much as he would have gotten if Carolina did this earlier during FA period, but he'll still get paid. There are a few teams with the cap space. I'm thinking he's a little overrated, but I haven't watched a ton of the Panthers. We'll see.
