me and my wife went to Atlanta for the weekend.
i dont know how the fuck my wife leaves her ID at home, but she did. so she had to go through
a thorough screening and security check before being allowed past the checkpoint.
They didnt check her purse good enough, because she didnt realize that she had both a 2 inch
foldout knife and her taser in there that they overlooked. Didnt realize she had it til we were on
the plane and she was digging thru her purse for her earbuds and saw the knife and taser.
Shit cant be this easy man.

I have another complaint about the TSA, in particular Terminal 4 at JFK. I just took two trips in the last two weeks, Miami Beach and Las Vegas, and the fuckin' line just to get to the table to unload your shit was ridiculous! Long lines having you walk back and forth! Cherry on top are the monitors that let you know how long the wait's going to be before you get through security.

There are different levels to it depending if you go international or not. In two years I've only used it once and I travel a lot, but it also seemed they only use it when it extremely busy at airports.

If you have a second form of ID (like a credit card) that's sufficient enough, when you book a flight they already have all of your information. You can carry a weapon to an airport or a plane if you get it checked in, if you accidently left it on you and they happened to find it they'll make you throw it away or go back to the gate and check it in. If you have it in your check-in luggage w/o them knowing they will confiscate it, and depending what it is you might be met with by some law enforcement when you get off the plane.

I know some that work at TSA and dude lets what he believes are minor items slide all the time.

Once he had a guy come through the checkpoint with a small amount of weed stuffed in the bottom of a baby bottle.

He caught it but he let the couple go anyway.

Most TSO would've had them hemmed up and ruined they life over a small amount of weed like that.

Oh and if you traveling with a bottle of unopened drink and they want to throw it out tell them it's medicinal.

It could be for health issues, issues that are none of their business.

They'll send you to additional screening but that's usually a short pat down.

They have to allow you the option of what you want to do with it, they can't just throw it out.

Read the last sentence in my response, and people leave their IDs all the time, and unless you are flying Afghanistan or somewhere like that they will work with you. It's in the airlines best interest to help you, if you cancel your flight they have to give you a full refund. The only time I've personally heard anyone get denied their tickets is when someone I know tried to fly to Brazil without a travel visa (which takes a few weeks to get), and even they gave them a new flight to somewhere else and hooked them up with hotel discounts at their destination.

The only other thing she had to go through was a thorough body check....and they rechecked her purse and carry on bag even after it went through the scanner. So they actually missed the knife and taser twice. Mufuckas actually checked my wife's hair. and all behind her ears.

I once made it through TSA at Reagan with a box cutter. I had caught my flight after work and took everything from my work pants into my pants I had on the plane. (Keys, wallet, phone etc..)
